Why is it that the day which we give workers off in commemoration of workers uses the word 'labor'?
To me that really sounds like a pregnant women about to give birth.
The very definition of the word labor includes both pregnancy process and workers. So is having kids by definition a job...
Most forum members know about my situation with my father. We're not talking.
This past Wednesday, he sent me an e-mail, saying he was "checking in on me, to see how I'm doing, and how the treatment was going." He said he "Knows it's tough on me".
