i want to go to NEST this year.
really bad.
i haven't been back since 2008 and even though i had some hesitant to return because of past memories there...i feel i'm ready to go back. and bella bash only confirmed that.
and now that i'm ready to go back...i can't!
it's like everything in the world is trying to freaking stop me haha
but i'm trying to find the loop holes.
1. my car CANNOT travel that far. having a long distance relationship really took a toll on my car and now i can't trust that thing to go 1 hour away...let alone all the way to NEST.
loop hole? plane. which is all well and good...but i've never been on a plane! i was looking up ticket prices and they're not as bad as i thought. so that's a possibility. i would just *HAVE* to be home before 3pm on monday.
2. taking time off work. now for most people this isn't a problem asking only 2 days off. (my "weekends" are considered thurs and fri...not sat and sun.) BUT i don't get vacation time until i've worked 1 year there...which won't be until october.
loophole? comp. time and personal hours. i'm just gonna have to keep building it up. which isn't bad if you think about it. i mean i would only need to take a total of 16 hours. i think i could pull that off...just can't call off or leave early until may! i can do that. i have no life.
3. money money money. it's a problem for pretty much everyone and i'm definitely no exception. i'm in debt to my mom $2,000.
i have bills, rent, and ya know, life to pay for.
loophole? ah..i dunno. my mom can wait. NEST total for me in 08 was about $300...but i drove there and barely ate and split a hotel room.
so you take:
the plane ticket -$200ish?
NEST fee- i forget??
hotel room - even splitting i'm not sure.
food
i'm thinkin about $500. does that sound right??
sooo that's that. those are my 3 main concerns at the moment. if it's not more than $500 i may be able to pull it off...maybe. i just don't know. it's so hard to be sure. i wish i could just drive!!
