So when you finally told your bf/gf friends or anybody else about your tickling fetish what was the reaction they gave you ?
 
"really? is that it?" and then things carry on as normal but with far less pressure
 
My best friend said, "Cool! You can practice on me anytime." It's been eight years since she and I met and let's just say my skills have improved immensely since our first tickling encounter (she was just a friend when we first met but as the weeks passed I bared my soul to her and she reciprocated by baring her soles (and other parts of her body) to me and we're closer than ever today).
 
I've yet to tell anyone who was worst than uninterested/uncomfortable. Never lost a lover. Never lost a friend. Family was not surprised. I used to figure I just had a lot of unique people around me, and while they're all really cool, that many people in this long a life has me thinkin' it ain't THAT unique. 🙂

I told my best friend and he gave me a horrible reaction. He insulted me and made fun of me. Finally I snapped at the guy. Were not friends anymore BTW.
 
First person didn't really care (but will let me tickle her all the time 😎), others thought it was weird but didn't really care either.
 
Most of the people I know, i've told over the internet. The few people I have told in person either reacted by saying they liked it too (which was actually a surprise to me), and many others simply said something like "oh, that's cool" and then it wasn't really brought up.

My best friend who I lived with for a while found out while she was using my computer. I thought it was going to suck, but she was actually pretty cool about it.

I've always made sure to pick my times well though. It's a little like a being gay, or harboring some other secret. It's not generally something to open with, especially if you're not close to the person.
 
Most of my friends were curious when I told them, which was inevitable once I started making videos. Most if not all wanted to see some content, and found it funny and interesting and that's about it.

But among the models I've worked with, a lot of them have found it contagious. I can think of three off the top of my head who really got into it, and carried it into their relationships.
 
Haven't told anyone really, yet. But I was posting from my iphone yesterday and didn't reset the internet page. I did clear history/cache after, just cause people have a habit of grabbing my phone to play with, stares at a certain blond girl on the subway 😉. Anyway, today at lunch a friend was like "can I see your phone for a minute" so I passed it to them. At lunch people usually borrow it to check mail, internet, etc. Anyway, I open the internet later that day and the tmf is still up on the current web page and I was like "oh shit!", stopped, thought for a second, and was like, ahhh fuck it, I don't care.

Whether he checked the net or just one of the other apps I don't know, but the comfort level is definitely rising quickly. 😉 Just thought I'd share that.
 
When I told one of my friends, she said, "I have a 'sex with men' fetish". Then we both laughed about it. Crazy people.
 
I have a very quirky personality. I have always been eccentric. So when 'coming out' about being into tickling, the reaction was, well, meager at best. I keep company with open minded people so they never freak out and the few gf I've had were either really into it or indulged me even though it wasn't their cup of tea.
First time I broke the news was me saying, "The truth is, I'm a little...strange." I then turned to face the girl I had been dating for 2 weeks who was looking at me as though I had told her Mexico was south of Canada. We laughed, then I told her, and she was totally cool with it.
 
When Lyz told me my reactions was "and..." I thought there was going to be much more to it (like I like being tickled... by people dressed up as the seven dwarfs) or something like that.
Personally I feel that if you tell someone about something like this and they make fun of you are treat you different then they can pound sand. someone who is a true friend wouldn't do that.

Quite frankly if someone gives you really a hard time about being into tickling they probably have a fetish in there own lives that they are EXTREMELY uncomfortable with.
 
I´ve only told folk who I know through this forum. Can´t imagine that I´d get a particularly negative reaction from a mainstream partner, or from friends if it happened to come up in our usual drunken chat.

The first time I spoke openly about it with someone was quite a rush. Liberating.
 
My gf kinda guessed that I had one cos I talked about tickling with her way more than was normal. So she wasn't surprised when I told her. She's been fabulous about it since the start!
 
other then my boyfriend, who i met on here, only one other guy knows about my fetish. And when i told him about it, he came out and told me he was gay. lol, it was pretty interesting. I can't say that I "finally" brought this up with a partner. All of my partners know about it just like they know about my other kinks. Some share it, others don't, but none are freaked out by it.
 
Well the response from the females I tell about my fetish varies. I mean ive told a few girl sI went to HS with back in the day privately about it recent and they were kinda "oh so now it makes sense", then they allowed me to tickle them for brief periods of time. There was even one who after telling her said "ok let do it then!" and she let me tie her up and tickle her, then after the first session she said she wanted to try again because she thinks she can last longer....so we did it again. Ive also told some ppl I havent know for that long and they were pretty much like "really? tickling? thats it?". So far havent had to many negative experiences and have even had 1 or 2 want to even go to a gathering with me cuz they think it sounds like alot of fun.

The strongest reaction I've gotten was that it was really wierd and abnormal, but it was still accepted, so whatever. I've told a fairly decent amount of people that I feel a certain closeness to, and it has never altered my relationships with them. Well, except to make them more interesting! A couple of my lady friends that I've known for some time weren't that shocked, since I was quite 'active' in discovering the extent of my foot/tickling fetishes in high school. Guess that women's intuition thing is real!
