But let us not forget Canadian law...

It is illegal for a man to drink with a woman in an Edmonton beer parlor in (Alberta.)


All bicycle riders must signal with the arm before making a turn, and a bicycle rider must keep both hands on the handlebars at all times" ( Edmonton.)

It is against the law to go naked in your own home if you leave the blinds up. (Winnipeg)

Canadian law states that every 5 th song on the radio must be by a Canadian born citizen.

In Uxbridge, Ontario it's illegal to have an internet connection faster than 56k!


Quebec law states that all business signs must be in French. If the owner wants English on the sign then the French print has to be twice as large as the English print.

In Nova Scotia a person is not allowed to water their grass when it's raining.

In Guelph, Ontario, the city is classified as a no pee zone!

In Toronto, Ontario it's illegal to drag a dead horse down Younge St on a Sunday!

In Oshawa, Ontario it's illegal to climb trees!

crazy what some laws are still on the books... I know here in Maine it is illegal to bite the trolly car conductor.... not that we have trolly cars anymore but hey!

and virginia- they are strugglin: Not only is it illegal to have sex with the lights on, one may not have sex in any position other than missionary. ~ www.dumblaws.com
 
Remind me never to go to Virginia again. It also sucks that, in Maryland, I cannot take a lion to see a movie with me. That is terribly unfair to both the lion and myself. 😉

Damn! Sucks to be me. I need to move! LOL Seriously our police have better things to do. I am kindy wondering if a man has actually gotten in trouble for it? I cannot believe this law is active anymore. We have some crazy laws. Did you know you can buy a vibrator, but it is illegal to use it?
 
Some more dumb VA Laws:It is illegal to have sex with the lights on, one may not have sex in any position other than missionary,You may not have oral or anal sex,If one is not married, it is illegal for him to have sexual relations,and our state motto is "Virginia is for Lovers."
 
This is a law?

I am guessing most of the "dumb" laws are on the books because of one incident and someone made a HUGE stink about it to his or her state or local representative.

In Santa Clara, CA (where I live) it is illegal to have a parking space dedicated to the patron saint of television.

In Seattle it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon greater than 6 feet in length.

I guess battles between immortals must be a huge problem in Seattle. I can see it, now...

Well, I guess no one has time to repeal the idiotic laws at their lawmaking sessions. These are pretty darn hilarious!
