Most of the NEST clique moved on. Definately not as much activity as there was a few years ago, but much fewer flame wars. Another change has been in the vidclip section. Many more producers, and excellent quality. :clap:
 
seems quieter yes and i mostly hang in the ssf..maybe everyone has found my stash of chill pills 😛

I've always been hanging out in the SSF. Yes, more people hang out there now than did in 2009.

By the way, I miss your TMI Tuesday threads.

Glad that you are maturing. Nobody should be the enfant terrible of the TMF for more than a year. :rowfull:
 
It seems quieter to me as well. I know for my part there are very few threads that actually interest me. Very things I see make want to read or post a comment in. It's almost becoming to predictable. At this point I'd rather just talk to the friends I've made through the forum outside the forum. It's a little sad. I loved all the randomness that use to pop up on here.

^Don't forget that I heard about the FetLife site from you, and now find TMF members posting over there.^
 
One of the changes has been that Facebook has drained off a lot of the random non-tickling posting that people used to share here. The images, discoveries, etc. It's all moved there. And the activity went with it.

I miss the more active discussion here, but it rises and falls on the way the members decide to use the site.

I miss the TMI Tuesdays also, but I also know how much work they are, and how they were seeing less traffic much like my member picture challenge thread each week. So I understand why putting time there when there are so many other things pulling at ones time is not the choice one would make.

As for 'growing up' Crystal is a good example of a member who came to the forum looking for answers and found a lot more then she expected, and came out so much better for it. TMI Tuesdays, her TMF Radio Show, her visits to gatherings, and eventually becoming a mod her were all steps on the road. It was/is good to see.

And if you want to create a controversial thread, sure. But you get to mod it too!
