A lot of cultures consider a multitude of tats like his to have meaning and purpose. I'd freak right the eff out if my baby wanted to look like that or if one of my daughters brought that dude home (AAAHHH), but in either case if it made him happy and seemed to be who he really was I'd do my best to respect it. And hell, if he had his own tattoo shop he'd be doing a lot better than a lot of untatted young men runnin' around...

As far as that girl, I just wish she'd tried it with henna first to see if she could live with it, it would wear off in time and she could do it permanently if she really wanted to...

The story sounds incredibly fishy to me. I have never heard of anyone falling asleep while getting a tattoo on their face before. Secondly, she says that that artist didn't understand her in either French or in English. I find that hard to believe since in either language, the words three and fifty-six sound nothing alike. The trouble only started after her boyfriend and father made a big deal about the tattoo. In addition, a third party has confirmed that the girl wanted the fifty-six stars, and not three. It sounds to me that she is experiencing buyer's remorse after the boyfriend and father lost it, not because she asked for three stars.

It isn't. And in that case, I think it's okay, because in my opinion that much stupidity doesn't deserve a lot of tolerance!

I know a guy who makes extra money with doing piercings. His main job is aircraft mechanic. He's the only piercer I know who doesn't have a single piercing in his face because in his job it isn't tolerated.
