I doubt she was high or drunk. She was probably just fucking stupid. Most tattoo artists will not work on a person if they appear inebriated. They don't want to get sued afterwards lol.

The whole thing "could" just be one magnificent attention grab. Not only get some ink...have people around the world conversing about it, too!


On the other hand, The piercings I had done(besides the ear) were all performed while I was totally sloshed. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Fuuuck pain.

The fact that it is even news at all is kind of astounding to me. People get tattoos they regret when they're younger all the time.

They more explain that if you haven't felt what getting a tattoo is like, that places like the skull aren't the best areas to go with because they are very sensitive and you wouldn't know what to expect. Also, if it's your first tattoo, they try to suggest another place other than hands, face, or neck because unless you're going to dedicate your life to being a walking piece of art, visible tattoos, especially ones on the face, hands, or neck, can make it difficult to find a job. But they don't try to talk you out of getting a tattoo, they try to talk you out of getting one in a certain area at first. Most of them will suggest the back, shoulder, wrist, or something similar.

I mean, it's a machine with a needle attached to it that's stabbing you hundreds of times per second. There is blood. It's not excruciating pain, more annoying subtle pain, but it does not feel pleasant, though some like it.

My brother has tattoos all over his body and I was there when he got his armpit tattooed and it was not a pretty site.When my mom got back he pretty much ran to her crying about how much it hurt and he couldn't finish it all he had to go back and finish it another day.

As far as the ticklish tattoos go, I was thinking more of the areas "cushiony" areas as opposed to those more tender areas close to the bone. Do the fleshier areas tickle at all? Even a close approximation of an itch, perhaps?

Aside from the piece on my chest (It's "To Thine Ownself Be True" [a quote from my favorite play Hamlet, one that appears often in the AA program which has helped my father become sober and turn his life around, and one that I identify with personally] written in cursive black script), I have one on either wrist, and one on my right hand.
