im glad that works for u but my head gets to crowed to focus on one of those walks....down side of naturally over analyzing everything.

For me it's whatever doesn't suck and whatever I'm in the mood for. It's usually something loud though. I can only take soft for like, three songs.

Same with me. If I'm working on something that I really need to concentrate on it's either silence of more instrumental music. If there's a bunch of loud noise, esp. with words, forget it. I can't think. I need my quiet or I get like this and not in a good way! lol

Absolutely. I find that the type of music I listen to affects how and what I draw. Sometimes when I want to convey a certain feeling in a piece I'm doing, I listen to music that reflects that feeling so my mind is conditioned to how I want the drawing to feel.

I do! I love putting on records while I paint, I like to paint in time with the music I am listening to. And if there are days where I am blocked, I put on a new song, it stimulates new ideas for me.

I listen to music while doing surgery... it actually helps me stay calm, cool, and focused while not becoming so wrapped up I forget to breathe. It may sound strange, but it's much better to have stress free surgeon rather than an uptight/stressed out one. At least for animals 🙂
