Have you ever had to put up with them? well since april, we at deviantart have had to put up with what can only be described as ignorance incarnate.

Her user name is BrutallyHonest2U, and she is the lowest form of the low. She calls furry's and people with fetishes ''sick fucks'', (even though everyone has a fetish.) Says that we only make tickle art/fiction to fap to, (never mind all the character development that went into them.) Says ferishes are a mental illness and calls the true defenition of fetish bullshit!

And anyone who dares to disagree with her views gets insulted.

People like her make me sick. It's obvious she was abused as a child, and she has the nerve to say WE should get a life.

She is also alien to the term ''nostalgia'' and calls adults watching shows they grew up with creepy.

The only reason she ever came to the site is because Deviantart is allowing us to make the art we do. She is one of those who would seeing tickling as nothing but a sex thing.

I know i shouldn't be feeding her, but i just had to get this off my chest.

I've never been to deviantart, but, when I first joined TMF in 2002, we had a chatroom that wasn't secure, and didnt require passwords. Anyone could enter or leave under any name. Many trolls under different names would enter the chatroom, and type the worst insults to the chat members, in capital letters. Shortly thereafter, Jeff and Myriads changed the forum and chat format, and made it password secure, and then the situation improved. However, the goings on with what I just described when I first joined in 2002 were awful.

though when you are putting your work out in the public eye you're bound to get criticism, i dont think being rude and completely disrespecting you is fair either... it's easy for some to say "ignore their comments", but harder to do and not take personally when it's your own work that you created and are proud of; especially when coming from someone who doesn't understand (or want to for that matter...) your point of view of the art...

again, there are a lot of trolls on the site who just like to cause problems by being rude, crude, and socially unacceptable.... i've had my run in with many of them, and continue to... it's a never ending war im afraid 🙁

Actually, I was kidding. Hence the tongue face emoticon - a usual indicator of such intention. Truth is, I could care less what anyone else is into as long as no one's attempting to shove a dildo up my ass. Don't have time to concern myself with anyone else's sexual interests unless I'm truly curious. Then I'll look into it a little bit to see if it peaks my interest or at least I understand a bit more to see where they're coming from. If not, I carry on with forwarding my life and whatever else enriches me. Anything else seems to me like a waste of time. If you have that much of an issue with her and her behavior is too much to ignore as it seems to be being as how you ranted about it, perhaps you should confront her.

Unfortunately, there will be trolls wherever you go.

Some are legitimately against what it is they're trolling about. They have some sort of innate fear of whatever the subject matter is, or they had a bad experience with it. or they're very strictly religious or something and the subject matter directly conflicts with their beliefs. Or any number of countless other reasons.

Or, they are just a douche. Sometimes you'll get that - someone who wants to bash a particular topic because they find it to be amusing. Usually it's a subject that people get easily all riled up about, too, since they hold it close to their heart, or because it's a big part of their lives.
