Anybody here listen to Metal?

Anybody here into or have heard of cannibal corpse?

Which such classic song titles as

Fu*ked with a knife
Stripped, raped and strangled
I cum blood
Necropedophile
Addicted to vaginal skin

😛

Well imma go with some of the ones in goodieluvers list.....Static X(the band that started my metal liking), Slipknot, Turbonegro, Slayer, and another personal favorite Mudvayne.

I love dark lyrics like that

:firedevil

Anything is what she is
Anywhere is where she's from
Anything is what she'll be
Anything as long as it's mine
And the door it opens is a way back in
Or is it way back out?

Anyplace is where she'll be
Anyplace, she'll see you from
Lies and secrets become your world
Anytime, anywhere she takes me away
And death climbs up the steps one by one
To give you the rose
That's been burnt by her son

Chorus:
Point me to the sky above
I can get there on my own
Walk me through the graveyard
Dig up her bones

I have seen the demons face
I have heard of her death place
I fall down on my knees in Praise of the
Horrible things that took her away
And death climbs up the steps one by one
To give you the rose that's
been burnt by her son

Chorus:
Point me to the sky above
I can get there on my own
Walk me through the graveyard
Dig up her bones

Point me to the sky above
I can’t get there on my own
Walk me through the graveyard
Dig up her bones
Bones -The Misfits

Ah yes, the Misfits w/Michael Graves on vocals.....
I still love my Misfits CD 'Coffin' box set.
Cannot say I am into death metal, or gloom - but, I do like Mercyful Fate, Entombed.....
I dare say - Eddie, the moniker of Iron Maiden - is the beast of all beasts.
3 Inches of Blood - proudly of Vancouver.

Thought it was gonna be the jan issue, i dont recall, i left the decembre phil issue back at school

Tech tho, how many known metal ladies are there...i mean there is arch enemy and the kittie girls and if u wanna argue styles, theres wendy o williams, tarja of nightwish and scabbia of lacuna coil, i know im missin some good ones but i mean, theres only so many girls in metal.....and i dont want it cheapened down by showing god damn jada pinkett smith as a metal chick since she was one of the ruininations of ozzfest 2005

Aye, Butterfly_wings - it be a great investment.
Goodieluver - the mag will be on newstands in January, but the issue will say March 2006 (don't ask why, I have no clue meself).
Ack - serious? Mrs Smith was at Ozzfest? ewww.....
I wish Ms Bif Naked was more recogonized more in the states.

My votes.....Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Kittie, Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil)....and pardon my brain meld.....the singer from OTEP, keyboardist from Bleeding Through, keyboardist from Boys Night Out.....

*wonders where hath cutelildevilgrl disappeared to*

That was the biggest controversy of ozzfest, that wicked wisdom(jada pinkett smith) was on the setlist, totally ruined the middle, her equip was all on feedback and it was nothin but like a voice in a blender, made my chin hair hurt

Ok thanks gargoyleofdusk i'll have to look around to see if they are still selling it in stores.

And since when is Jada Pinkett part of the metal scene? Ewwww :xlime:

Tarja Turunen the leader singer of the Finnish Metal band Nightwish. 😀

check the name, who likes metal? I like metal 🙄

love the nu stuff, hate the older stuff.

I absolutely love Lacuna Coil. Cristina is a gorgeous, gorgeous woman. I have about a dozen pics of her that I rotate using as wallpaper on my computer. 🙂 One of my favorite songs is the title track to "Comalies". She sounds so incredibly sexy singing the verses in Italian. Makes my heart melt.

Giggity!

One of my all-time favorite Cristina pics. Just... WOW. So absolutely freaking wicked hot. 😉

Most die hard metal fans hate the new stuff and love the older stuff. So that's surprising.

I was against nu for a while now, mainly focusing on the thrash metal 80-90's and whatnot. I totally hated the screaching\screaming vocal type metal but i got the freddy vs jason soundtrack and went to ozzfest and that officially introduced me to killswitch engage, which i liked very much, then i gradually became a fan of it, same with trivium and atreyu. Only thing i still hate is metal like cradle of filth and such, where its just subglutteral talking and you have no clue what is being said unless u read the booklets

I like screaming metal like the bands you just mentioned Trivium and Atreyu. But your right bands like cradle of filth (which i could get into MAYBE) but most of thier songs you have to follow along with the lyrics in the booklets that you get with the albums to even find out what thier saying and screaching about. But i do love the song ''Nymphetamine'' by cradle of filth. That was the very first song i heard by them. I think the song and also the video for that song are both beautially well done.

Really? i didn't know that and i have seen ace ventura. That is funny.

I have listened to all kinds of metal (from satanic etc) But i really don't like to listen to satanic music. I like darker music with dark lyrics just not satanic music that much. If that makes any sense.

shit yeah i listen to metal......

listening to Journey as we speak........ :imouttahe
