Are pregnant ladies more ticklish on their bellies? I saw a tv show once where the husband touched his pregnant wife's belly and she shrieked with laughter. When a lady is pregnant, is the skin around her belly more sensitive to touch?

Also are there any tickling videos featuring a pregnant lady being tickled on her belly?

Makes sense to me...

Because of the constantly fluctuating hormone levels you're more EVERYTHING when you're pregnant.

As for the vids, I couldn't say but they've pretty much got everything out there these days...

1) my oldest sis has four kids (all under age 10), and says she gets even more ticklish when pregnant (and she's "off the scale" ticklish to begin with); says even a gentle foot massage from her hubby sends her into hysterics when she's pregnant; burst out laughing from the sonogram on her tummy area.

2) My stepsis is currently pregnant...with her first (due in September). Says she can't tell any difference so far than before getting pregnant (was and is extremely ticklish).

3) My very ticklish girlfriend has three daughters, and said she seemed even more ticklish than usual when pregnant each time...especially on her tummy and underarms (feet about the same).


These three ladies are all extremely ticklish to begin with, so I'm not sure how a slightly ticklish woman would react to being pregnant.

speaking as a pregnant person, my personal experience is i am much more ticklish EVERYWHERE not just my belly i think it has to do with the sensativity, but not just to tickling i am more sensative to heat and cold as well

Oh yeah...my wife got a good bit more ticklish/sensitive.

Actually she said even sex was better because she was more "sensitive" all over...
Of course in the 9th month she hated the fact that I would tickle her feet and she couldnt' move much at all to defend herself!! LOL

Since this question originally came up several months back (I can't remember the first person who inquired about this), I've tickled two pregnant women (one was my cousin Kate, the other was a beautiful young woman who was a houseguest of my neighbor).

For these women, being pregnant made them far more ticklish. Their feet were especially sensitive.

So, my answer to your question would be yes.

Much like NT mentioned when my wife was pregnant she got very sensitive but also ran out of steam pretty quick, esp in the 9th month.

However to delve into a few good moments...

Well lets see a good one was when my wife was 7 months pregnant and pretty darned horny too...This was about the time when her belly was starting to really show but could still "defend" herself but she was very awkward in her movements...
So she was watching the TV and I simply grabbed an ankle and went to work on her and she started laughing alot louder than usual shrieking, "Oh MY GOD, I am SO TICKLISH", over and over again like she couldn't believe it. It actually shocked me too but what really shocked me was when she ASKED me to tickle her feet because she couldn't believe how ticklish they had become. I spent a good half-hour doing very light sole and toe tickles all over her feet and she was laughing her fool head off...well she noticed my "reaction" and her hornyness combined for a nice afternoon 😱 🙂

The best though was in her early 9th month...
She was HUGH already and didn't have much balance or control of herself and certainly couldn't stand up on her own.
I came home from work and my wife asked for a massage which I gladly gave her. She put her feet in my lap and started massaging on the couch.

But I wasn't paying too much attention(we were watching TV too) and my massage was a bit light and she got giggly and was saying "Just massage, NO tickle..." well that turned into no massage, more tickle😀
I started playing with her feet all over and she really couldn't move at all because her feet were in my lap on an "incline" and her head was resting on the armrest of the couch...so basically she couldn't move at all.
I only had to hold her ankles together and I started tickling right under her toes which is her worst spot and got her going, but I didn't tickle long because she was so sensitive and tired out quickly...however I did tickle her off and on for say 2 minutes on 2 minutes of rest...She was a mess a half hour later.
Because of her position I also got her feet, her knees and her belly.

Oh I forgot to mention her belly, her belly button that was a major innie became a major outie....well her bellybutton itself wasnt' ticklish but all around it was!!! Just a finger made her scream and all 5 fingers made her crazy!
And rasberries were really fun with her during her pregnancy, she got the giggles during those tickles...

Thanks for reminding me of those ticklish encounters.
These were the most rememberable ones, otherwise they were quick little feet or belly strokes that got a giggle.

When I was pregnant and taking childbirth classes, there was a point where the mothers-to-be sat in front of the coaches and practiced breathing techniques. During this time, the coaches had their hands places on the moms' backs. As I sat between my husband's legs leaning back onto his chest, I always became so relaxed. This was my favorite part of the class. Then one day, the teacher introduced "light effleurage." Yes, it was very French sounding and the way she said it.....

EF-lur-aaaqaaahhhhhgge---ending in a whisper.

It was a light circular massage technique that was encouraged to help "keep us in the moment" rather than succumbing to the pain of labor. It works, by the way.

So, there we all sat...like a bunch of sexy beached whales leaning on these poor folks. This was late summer, so we were all sporting very “hip" pregnancy clothes. Tank tops, with shorts below our bellies…you know what I mean. The “OH MY GOD SHE IS SO PREGNANT” outfit that exposed tons of skin. The coaches were out of fear for their lives (from out hormonal fluctuations) being as supportive as possible in every manner that a person can be. They were doing exactly as they were told, bless their hearts. The teacher was saying, "Coaches, let's do a light EF-lur-aaaaaaahhhge on mom's back. Little circles. Light touches. Never lose contact or mom will be shocked in and out of her state of relax."

Uh huh---sure....
Now for what really happened.

At that moment, you suddenly heard the squealing of all twelve pregnant women who were simultaneously having their backs, necks, arms, bellies, or sides lightly tickl…erm…massaged....and the coaches would NOT STOP! They were under strict orders and would not deviate out of fear of bodily harm!

The sound of the laughter was music to my ears! I’m sure ti was quite the sight to see. Not one of us was fit to jump away. Our partners were so sweet that most of them thought that we needed help not to wobble, so they held on to us and kept “massaging.” It took about 25 minutes for us to regain composure, and make mad dashes to the potty! Talk about tickling someone till they wet their pants! It's not hard when she's very pregnant! LOL

Even now, when I run into women who were in that class with me, we can giggle and say EF-lur-aaaaaahhhhhggge and the giddiness carries me through the rest of the day.

Ah, well...I still love that type of touch. We call it "light tickles" around here. But it's really a legitimate childbirth technique! 😀 hehe

I'm currently 8 months pregnant, and can absolutely agree with what has been said on this thread. I am WAY more ticklish now than I ever have been. The problem is that I have a very low tolerance for the tickling. Because the feeling is so intense, I find that I can only take it for a few seconds before I'm trying to roll away from my husband (which isn't an easy task when you're hugely pregnant! lol).
Along with the change in hormone levels, I also attribute the change in sensitivity to being crazy overprotective of my body right now. There is a definite feeling of helplessness that goes along with being pregnant (for me at least) because I know that there isn't too much that I could do to defend myself right now (I've kind of got that turtle on it's back feeling.)
If you buy into the ancient theory that people are ticklish in certain areas because those are the areas that are most suseptable to bodily injury, and thus when touched, make you instinctively try and protect yourself, then I think it makes a lot of sense that a woman would be more ticklish when pregnant. As I see my belly grow, and know that there is a helpless little wee one inside there, my maternal instinct goes a bit crazy, and I do tend to overreact to certain ticklish touches....especially around my belly (which, by the way, is an area that has never before been even remotely ticklish.)

But, then again it could just be the hormones...lord knows there are enough of those flying around to throw EVERYTHING out of whack! 😀

Just get an epidural(spine numbing medication) when you have your child...then you can enjoy the childbirth without the PAIN of childbirth...of course there is pressure you feel but not the intense pain of labor...and until you have a husband I would be glad to tickle you senseless 😉

I personally havent had the experience of tickling a pregnant woman before but I do know that when my Aunt was pregnant with my cousin Danny her husband tickled the daylights out of her belly and feet she was ticklish to begin with but while pregnant she flew into hysterical laughter. I have had tickled girls before but not while pregnant. Hearing a female laughter while expecting or not is a great sound 😀 C-ya lata tickling fans
