Are Redheads Unusually Ticklish?

Every Red Headed lady I have ever met and gotten to know, has been extremely ticklish! The mere mentioning of tickling made them shiver, quiver and curl/scrunch their toes!!! They were all screamers too!

Actually there is a study made on the matter of sensitivity and skin characteristics...more exactly...sensitivity and melanina production.

Apparently one of the conclusions of this study was in fact that the number of nervous terminations existing under your skin seems to be related with your melanine production.

So to conclude, there´s out there [in the scientific community, a view] that pain, ticklishness and other [nerve-related sensations] may be found somewhat [more intense] in the same way that we find people who tend to get more damages from sun exposure.

I find this a fascinating idea. Melanin is the body's way to genetically protect races of humans that have more direct exposure to intense sun (i.e. it causes races near the equator to have a darker skin tone). It makes sense to me that part of the human body's evolution toward this protection would be to deaden or otherwise partially anesthetize the nerves which would feel pain from exposure to the sun, those on the surface of the skin.

Nothing in life is 100-percent, so this doesn't mean that skin tone has significance in how ticklish an individual is, but it might mean that lighter skin-toned persons have more of a predilection towards being ticklish than darker skin-pigmented people on the whole.

In any case... I volunteer to test this theory... all you light-pigmented ladies line up on the left, and the darker-toned ladies on the right. Take off your shoes and we'll test this theory. Oh, what I go through for science! 😉
 
Well, I personally only know one redhead, and I've never tickled her... I KNOW her, but I dunno if I'd say that we're friends or not. She's my quasi-girlfriend's best friend, so I see her a lot... *evil grin* M'gonna have to test this theory next time I'm alone with her.
 
I too have found Red heads to be more ticklish than others. This is great since I find reds very attractive.
 
I was a redhead for about 4 or 5 months...dont know if it affected me that badly

I don't think thee's any connection with race, hair color and so on about ticklishness. I dated a blonde girl who was not tickllish at all, my wife is extremely ticklish on her feet, but only average in other places, but her mother has brown hair and quite dark skin, and is extremely ticklish all over. I just think it's random.
 
Red heads I know tend to be ticklish but as much as I want to believe otherwise, its all a genetic crapshoot I think.
 
This is something I thought about too. When I was in my twenties there was an Irish girl who worked at my office with freckles and flaming red hair, the whole 9 yards. She had the sexiest laugh too. I had the distinction of remembering her tell another girl that she was off the wall ticklish and it drove her crazy!! All I can say was that I was deeply disturbed for the remainder of the day!!:devil:

But I really dont think hair color nor skin color has any real effect on ones ticklishness. I think this is one of those things that may be exciting to think about .

Most asians I've known are extremely ticklish, but most blondes I've known are not very ticklish, at least not in the feet
 
Of course there are exceptions to every rule, and it's not the only factor. I don't know whether it can be scientifically demonstrated that they're actually more sensitive or not. But I do know this:

*Nothing* drives me crazier and makes me hornier than a ticklish redhead. Especially one with soft, milky white skin and freckles.

*NOTHING*.

Which actually brings me to something I wanted to ask. I don't post in the TMF very often, but this is worth giving a shot. Maybe it belongs more in the 'Requests' forum. But this picture

are obviously from the same place and time, with the same girls. The redheaded one is practically lifted right out of my wildest dreams. The pic is one of my absolute favourites. Her feet are like the most flawlessly beautiful thing I've ever seen -- it almost makes me want to question my atheism! The only thing hotter would be Gillian Anderson herself.

I recently discovered the video. She makes a *wonderful* 'ler, but what I REALLY want to see is video of her as the 'lee, like in the pic. Does such a video even exist? I tried looking at the footparadise.com website, since it says that on the pic. But if it's there, I have no idea how to find it.

Anyone happen to have run across it? Anyone who might be able to hook me up, I will worship you forever.
 
My girlfriend is a redhead and is very ticklish.
If it's a connection to other redheads I have no idea, but a interesting question 🙂

Haha. I'm not entirely red. I'm more of a dye job red. My natural is very reddish brown, though. So I'm kind of half and half.
