Any body can be goth it don't matter what race or religion you are. I kind of googled the subject awhile back. Some goths are all pierced and tattooed up, some are not. it depends on the person. there is no real standard to it. the only thing that they don't like are people who try to be like them and over act the part. Thinking its all about vampires and such. I don't consider myself goth, i do like to ware a lot of black and i work nights, plus i like some of the music. The way the girls dress is very sexy to me, as long as they don't over do it with the piercings and have nothing but tattoos all over the place. That's just a personal preference for me, I am not condemning people that like to do that, i just don't like the way it looks. anyway From i read it don't really matter who you are. I think the question comes up cause the stereotype of a goth is someone all pale white and dressed all in black. If you see a black person dressed all in black you wouldn't immediately assume they were goth. Though there is more to goth than just your appearance.

I don't see why not. Do I know any personally? No. But if you think about it: emo and goth are basically forms of cultural rebellion (angst personified, I guess), so that would pretty much include anyone. I imagine that because this particular sub culture is majority Caucasian dominated, anyone else might feel a little uncomfortable entering into it, but you can look around other sub cultures to see that this hasn't really stopped anyone.

Also, add into the mix that of all the sub culture/forms of rebellion that exist, these aren't exactly the most popular, ya know? lol
