yeah i wasn't to sure how exactly her face would look so i went with the more subdued reaction as opposed to yuki laughing cuz hey let's face i dont don't think even smiles during the anime so OH I know! I'll use some rei ayanami faces of her smiling/laughing (<--yes it does exist, i have an artbook 😛) as a reference next time ^^

i colored it too so yuni can't complain ;P
...i experimented with the airbrush a bit to give her skin some life and shine

Excellent job. Definitely my fav SOS girl. I like how the hair is let out - I take it this is a view from above, right? Or is her hair that messy because she has been fidgeting? The elbows are a little weird, a little deformed looking with the double tip, but the rest looks good.

That's because it's an Oekaki. That's how you can tell. You get that jittery/pixely quality on Oekaki pieces compared to what you'd often see from something like Sai or Photoshop.

pfft hehe yeah, yuni, i guess the "its just an oekaki excuse" is probably mostly responsible. but that's not to say i don't try to make it look as nice as i can, though. and thanks for saying i improved ^3^

actually i just like the pixely look, i guess. also, drawing without line weight and all pixely like that gives it [the illusion of] style. So that's the mentallity i use to justify it.

ugh but yeah i'm rearin' to try out photoshop cs6, so i'll do the sos trio with it as soon as i can.

You should try Art Rage. Less configuration settings, more creativity room.
