Bad News....

Some of you already know about my friend and her surgery. For those who don't, my closest friend was taken to the hospital. Later that night she was operated on and her mother was told either she would not survive the surgery or she would survive and never be the same again. She survived the surgery but they could not remove the entire tumor from her stomach. Yesterday, her mother was told my friend would not live through the week. I was texting with her mother and my friend is being taken home so she can die there. I don't know if I will get to see her one last time before she passes on. She is like a sister to me ever since we grew close in our sophomore year of high school. I was able to text with her last night and we said all the "I will miss you's" and the "I love you's" before she stopped responding. I don't why she stopped responding but it was about midnight so she just might have been tired.

words can not express the feelings I have hearing this.
I cant even begin to imagine what your friend is going through. Knowing the end is so close...not having enough words or time to be with those you love, all that you will miss...........

I will pray for her, but I know there is little I can do for her.
But I will worry about you, facing life now down one true friend and dare I say sister. I know nothing will ever replace her, and nothing ever should...but if you need to vent, or need an ear (or a monitor in this case) I will be here for you and Im sure your many friends on the forum will echo my sentiment that if you need us, just give us a holler.

Thank you so much. I know life is going to be harder for me now. She recently was pregnant with twins and she miscarried. Then she caught her fiance cheating with another woman. I helped her through that and she helped me through the loss of my beloved pet Casper.

I was so angry about that for the longest time...I finally erected a memorial to him online and wrote my goodbyes and everything I wanted to say that way. It helped bring me some closure, though I still miss him so damn much. So I know all too well the pain you're experiencing right now. I, along with others in this thread, will continue to pray for a miracle that she somehow pulls through this. And if God simply must take her now, then I will pray for you and her family to find the strength to go on, as hard as it will be.
