whjat a dilemna...

It's a tremendous honor to be asked to eulogize someone but at the same time it's one of the hardest things that anyone can do in my book. It would take a great deal of class to perform this very hard task but at the same time, who can blame him for declining. It's hard enough to deliver a eulogy with a clean conscience. When you have the feelings of guilt, like he does, it complicates things tenfold. Like Frank said, the girl and her family will continue to love this man no matter what he decides to do. Friend, if you are reading this read the next sentence very carefully. This is NOT your fault. You were not drunk and get behind the wheel of a car.

steph from what I have heard after talking to "this friend " on his way to the wake earlier , he told me he was going to deliver the eulogy,plus being pall bearer,alot on his plate this weekend .
Please Pm me steph as this is so difficult for me too though as "this friend" stated that I didn;t nor anyone knows this girl like he does,did which is true . Though we didn;t,don;t know her, I think that we hate to see good friends hurt as he has,is right now 🙁

I don't believe this news was posted when I started my last post so let me add a couple of things. Friend, as I said before, I wouldn't blame you if you declined the invitation, but seeing as you are going through with this, I just want to say that what you are doing is phenominal. It takes a special person to rise above the guilt and sorrow and do something for someone so close to you. I can tell you the family is lucky to have you as a friend and that girl is smiling from ear to ear. Congratulations
