Also keep in mind, although we take him for granted as the forum owner and a constant presence in our community, that MTP Jeff is a bit of a celebrity as well...not only in the tickling world but he's also appeared on Playboy TV. Yaqi, too, with his appearances on Stern and The Other Half can also fall into that catagory. We have our own homegrown celebs. 😀

I have a cousin who is somewhat known and he told me once that he thought it was wild the reactions you get for being human. I as well, with a small touch of celebrity that occured at one time, wonder why people care that much about someone who makes the news or does something in the entertainment field.

I also do not believe that famous people are anymore attractive than people I have met in real life. I am impressed with people that actually do something. I have met FDNY people that were in the Towers and believe they are worth a hell of alot more than say the Dixie Chicks. What happened to the days when Albert Einstein drew bigger crowds than Charlie Chaplin.

Nicely done Myriads and Mimi, those celebs probably soiled their undies when this thread started, but after seeing your answers they can be content to lurk, contribute, and experience in peace. When the mainstream actually catches up to us, if ever, they will present themselves at a time and place of their choosing. One day it will happen, and when it does I hope all here will treat them with the respect others have gotten here in the past. They are no different, just wake up to better views in the morning.

What A Nice Thought

It would be awesome if there were celebrities among us. With the thousands of members, there would bound to be couple. What interesting thing it would be, to be able to chat with one and find out how they deal with it and when they discovered that they liked tickling. But at the same time, they need their privacy. Plus, half of us (I think I would) would probably have heart attacks if we knew that Drew Barrymore or Sandra Bullock where on here. LOL

I seem to recall at least one or two members outing themselves as porn or bdsm video stars.
An ex GF of mine who has starrred in tickling bondage vids for a couple of companies has told me she has a member name on TMF, but not what it is.
I won't reveal her real world name, but she said she won't mind if I mention that she worked under the name Amber Michaels in the tickle/bondage vids, and also in a few very stringent non-tickling bondage vids. I asked. She said fine to say that, and remind everyone to buy her videos. Heh heh.
