Concern about Pedophiles and the forum...

First I would like to say that I am not accusing anybody of anything with this post. It is 100% likely that the people here who have posted art or photos with underage characters/people either didn't realize they were under 18 (for example Hayden Panettiere tickle pick on the red carpet), or that their was anything wrong with posting a pic of a cartoon (example Jubilee from the old X-Men cartoon). It is quite possible that when these things happened they were purely honest mistake made by members who were new and didn't realize the rule, or as the above states didn't know the pic featured a minor.

However my concern is this. If, on the of chance, some people did it on purpose, is it possible peds are using the forum as a means to contact other peds. Again I am not trying to accuse anybody of being anything, but it is an understandable concern. If somebody was to post a pic of a young actress for example, and then claim they didn't realize she was underage, but was actually sending out a feeler to see if there were any fucktard kiddie-rapers using the site it would be pretty disgusting to say the least.

In the past I would send a PM to the person and let them know "Hey that pic isn't aloud on the forum." Just to give them a heads up so they wouldn't get crapped on by the Mods. I just felt I was being a good neighbor so to speak. Now however I think I will just let the Mods know, and I implore all my fellow Forum members to do the same. I may sound like a total ass for this, but we need to be vigilant and report this stuff because I would hate to think these types of people could form an online network through the TMF.

While I can understand your intention, I'm willing to bet most pedos that are trying to "pick up" young kids are going to hang out more on kid/young adult themed forums rather than spend time an adult fetish site. That way they can create underage profiles to try and lure kids.

You won't find too many folks on here that will currently admit that they're underage.

I remember an episode of Law and OrderL SVU (yes I know it's a TV show, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it's basis in fact) and they had a "reformed" pediphile explain how some of these bastards meet. I'm saying it is always a possibility, and that we should watch out for it.

Clearly you've only got the noblest intentions, but I think you're worrying about nothing.

A) Like others have said, an adults-only, niche fetish forum with only occassional mistakes in legal-age content is not going to attract many child predators.

B) The minor incidents that you think might be red flags are nothing. There's a huge difference between somebody who thought that Hayden Panettiere was hot when she was 17 and a bona-fide pedophilic child predator.

Seriously though, the Mods have been doing a pretty thorough job at keeping the obvious and even accidental underage stuff off the forum and they probably spend more time worrying about it than they should and probably a lot more than you do.

I know it's a good thing that you're worried about pedophiles--we all are--but sometimes I think your concern borders on paranoia man.

They're out there and they always will be, and as long as they have opposeable thumbs and a functioning Broca's area in the frontal lobe, they will use whatever communication technology is available to do what they do.

That doesn't make the rest of us complicit just because we're not as anxious as you are about it.

I wouldn't fret too much, slaver. Most of those who've posted underage content are simply looking for every tickle reference that they can get...and wanting to share it with others. The same is true of threads asking people about their early experiences. Many of us started to realize our love of tickling as kids. So, it's only natural to want to share our journeys of discovery with those of like mind. Neither means that they're a pedophile/ephebophile or are using the forum to look for those who are. As others have mentioned, it's simply not a great venue for them to find others.

Also...as to your comment about contacting people about posting underage stuff to inform them that it's not allowed "so they wouldn't get crapped on by the Mods". When I was a mod, there were a couple of folks who had grabbed up a ton of stuff and tossed it all up to share with everyone. Sometimes, there'd be some underage stuff included in the collections. That content simply got editted out and the person asked via PM to be a bit more careful when gathering goodies to post. It was never a major issue.

often purposely list the supposed "age" of their characters at "adult" level

This community is very strict regarding minors depicted in stories or displayed in pictures and would flag any content and even warn any member that posts that kind of material.

The one thing that I love about this forum is the relax environment precisely because we are all suppose to be adults and we all love the same fetish.
