Curious about something with womens feet

Why do some women even bother putting toenail polish on, when the rest of their feet look like shit! why dress up your toes, when you have crusty ass heels, and callouses the size of half dollars on your feet????? ladies, you can put a silk hat on a pig, but its still a pig!

maniac, while I agree with your statement, think of this:.

Perhaps, the girls feel, that in sandals, or just walking, not many people will see their soles, except, for example, maybe family, friends, or if they are lying at a pool. The polish is probably just to "dress up" for appearances sake, the tops of their feet, and their toes, which are seen by most.

The people at the foot fetish site I belong to, HATE nasty looking soles, with lots of callouses, etc. That includes yours truly. I would much rather have soft, well kept soles, and bottoms of toes. Unfortunately, while some girls are into taking care of their feet, others just aren't.

As a female I actually have to agree here with maniactickler. Even if you cannot afford a pedicure every few weeks, a pedegg is only $10 or even a pumice stone is only $4 at Wal-Mart or Target. I use a pumice stone in the shower every day to just get my heels and the balls of my feet (usually the most dry places on my soles). I am mortified to go into public with 1) dirty, dry looking feet and 2) indecent looking toenails. I like to chose cute colors for my toenail polish...and I don't see the point of taking my time to paint them weekly and make them look decent if my feet look dry and uncared for! Ugh! It's not expensive to care for your feet, you just have to give a damn and then it's worth it when they look cute in flipflops and get guys attention 😛! 😀

I agree with everything Persephone said. I'm a huge advocate of diy pedicures. I hate the women that complain it costs too much! Ladies there really is no excuse other than you're a lazy person that doesn't care. If you really think people won't notice you're crazy!

Its because most women are more concerned with the cosmetic result of the polish, because it looks pretty, other than the aspects of overall foot health.
I educate women everyday, that it is much better to have heathly, well taken care of feet and no polish , than the other way around.

I disagree that women who don't like formal pedicures/manicures are simply lazy and stingy; for me it's a personal preference, as I just don't care for nail paint. Though I am definitely for bodily health and hygiene everywhere, including the feet.

Common sense should tell you that not everyone thinks the way you do and it's not about you 🙂 Again, not everyone thinks of calloused heels as ugly, in fact they don't think about them at all because they have lives. Many people even need their callouses if they run or dance, or just have an odd natural positioning of their knees and/or ankles and have trouble finding shoes that don't create callouses nearly instantly. Meanwhile, frankly I'm surprised you don't run into things more while you're walking or driving, with all of this ground-level observation 😈
