disproportional amount of heavy set women into tickling?

This. If you really stop and look at the male ticklers in the popular clips, you'll see that many of them would qualify as BBM's, if that's even a term.

Yes exactly!

actually, my original point for NY Ler was basically this. Its not that tickle fetishists tend to be on the large side, but rather if you look at the larger pool of fetishists in general thats the case as well. If you look at the population as a whole, an even bigger pool....the same thing applies. I agree 100% and i also love the term BBM. As i said in my first post, i feel bad using BBW in this because its not just women or tickle enthusiasts, its men too.

Actually, I think he is saying that a thin fetishist is more likely to be a model so she get paid, while the heavier fetishist will have a harder time getting paid and therefore go in a lifestyle direction. The reason it's not entirely clear is that he is trying to state his opinion but also couching/re-couching/softening/apologizing for it in an effort not to offend and receive responses trashing him.

I'm confused how I "trashed" him.... all I did was question if my interpretation was right or wrong? But alrighty--- feel how you will.

Not at all, i think you might be reaching. I offered the outcast explanation as one of many reasons people are drawn to the fetish world, which is an absolute fact even if it doesnt apply to you or anyone you know. it applies to me and everyone i know, but like i said im sure everyone has a different and some complete opposite experience than me. But, realistically what i said is true and does apply to a large number of fetishists.

not sure why the "wow" is needed. i didnt say anything untrue, blatantly offensive, or even anything unrealistic. But thats fine, it doesnt really matter.

And i didnt single out BBW people as the outcasts. The thin and trim fetishists/models largely fit that description as well. I think you were searching for an insult in what i said but everything i said is pretty generally applicable. My fiancee and all of her friends whom are fetish models all identify as outcasts in their personal lives. Its not a bad thing, if there is any negative connotation to it its certainly not being added by me but rather the way you are responding to it. Theres no need to be offended, its just an observation, not my opinion. Even my explanation was really just an assumption based on my own facts, not a judgement or opinion, and like i said im sure others have different facts they have seen completely.

In no way have i conducted a study as im sure no one reading any of this has. Its just my observation, a realistic one, from my personal exposure to it both thru lifestyle players and models.

thats all.

Actually, I was not reaching, I read this a few times and both my husband and I felt it came off the same way... plain and simple... hence why I questioned it... and why I said if MY INTERPRETATION was right, which you have stated it's not... fine and dandy, but no- for the record, I was not looking for a reason to be offended. The "wow" was to IF IT WAS HOW I READ IT... which, in my opinion, would be a crappy way of categorizing it.... You've stated that's not what you meant- so ok... that was my point. Sheesh.

Ticklemepls, no worries misunderstandings happen, especially via computer screens.

I think in this case the way you reacted internally to why I wrote and what you typed were slightly different. Which I think is why I wasn't the only one who felt the need to clarify.

Also, if you are specifying my words for me when I wasn't even making those specifications myself, that actually is reaching. But honestly it's fine it doesn't bother me, and I'm sorry if the misunderstanding bothered you.

Just like with the response to the OP, things like "why does it matter" or "wow" as a response often come across in the wrong way depending on the context. It just tends to be an unnecessary fire starter.

That's all, I just wanted to clarify. I'm not offended or upset or anything. Some of this stuff is a sensitive subject for some people so obviously it's sort a minefield to navigate opinions through a computer screen.

My point was, the ambiguity in his post was because he was trying to make his comment but not get trashed in responses. Whether your response counts as trashing him, I don't know -- that wasn't my point.

But I reread your post, then looked at your profile pix, and I disagree with your self-characterization as a BBW.

Very interesting replies, especially from socal... I think that my perception of reality is skewed, because most people want to see thin or non bbw tickled, hence most videos feature non bbw women, but again, that is not reality, meaning that it's not a representative of reality. In other words, way over 90 percent of videos feature in shape models, and when I check out member profiles or mingle with others from the community, that 90 percent quickly shrinks.

Let's take a look at this logically.

Who, in the vast majority, are the women being tickled (or the ticklers) on camera? Paid, professional models. Models who do other work outside of tickling fetish.

And since they are models, they need to conform to the mainstream ideal of what a model looks like. That would be the thin, non-BBW type, right?

So we have established that those in the tickling media we see advertised are mostly of a "model"-esque build. Therefore, if you are basing your entire perception of tickling on said advertisements, you might come to believe in a skewed form of reality.

Now, let's take a look at the female members of this forum, and I am talking about the actual female members here. Not the ones who pull a couple pictures off a friends Facebook feed and pass themselves off as such.

Just off the top of my head, here are a list of 10 prominent female members that I can recall seeing in the last few years.

- Annie Hall
- Blackest Lily
- Skippy
- Mrs. Po
- Aimee
- Crystal Light
- Bright Eyes
- Meka
- Dimple Toes
- TklDuo Ann.

If you are unfamiliar with any of these people, go scroll through their member history, and you'll see that just through that small sample, we have a variety of body types, ethnicities, and personalities. They are all beautiful women who would easily make a mint if they chose to become tickle models, but they are all different.

I've kinda lost my train of thought here, but the point stands. We are all snowflakes, each one different and unique, sharing only this fetish. Are a large proportion of people here overweight, by mainstream standards? Perhaps, but so is our country, so take it for what its worth.

Merciless, you're talking about 10 women... I can flip a coin and get tails there times on a row.... I'm talking about over a thousand women that I observed

Let's go back to the American culture. What percentage of people are overweight? According to the CDC, close to 70% of the US in 2009 - 2010 was considered overweight or obese.

So, if almost three-quarters of our population falls into those categories, wouldn't it stand to reason that the percentages of a kink website, or ANY website for that matter, would have similar proportions?

Bingo. Exactly what I thought.

I personally feel/have noticed that there is a little leeway with fetish models then say mainstream ones when it comes to weight. I feel it is because of what a fetish model sometimes has to partake in a shoot. Not every woman will let herself be put in extremely restrictive bondage and then have other stuff done to her like spanking, bastinado, forced orgasm, watersports, and other fetishy/BDSM stuff. Now of course there are many types of fetish modeling. Tickling is more of the soft core kind of fetish modeling. Although you can turn it from a simple woman in stocks tickled to a woman barely able to move and throw other fetishes in the mix to make it a more intense BDSM type scene. This is what I noticed when scanning famous fetish producers/photographers with pay for wibsites or clips for sales with profiles on Fet. I also fetish model on the side and I don't consider myself thin by societies standards. Maybe I would get a little more work if I lost some weight, but I still get hired every so often. I've also had people all over write wishing they could book me(Distance is a bitch sometimes).

I've observed the same thing. I have "guessed" why it is the way it is, but honestly I don't care much. I've had great sessions with non-skinny women and I hope to continue to do so.

I love to tickle skinny women and I love to see skinny women tickled. but I love love love seeing bigger women torture tickle skinny women all over their ribs.
