Flatfoot, I TOTALLY feel ya, bro...

...it's very similar to my own situation (back when I had to deal with her) with my ex. Just one of the many reasons she's the "Ex" today! It wasn't enough that she didn't share it or even understand it, she basically made me feel horrible for being this way, like there was something wrong with me. Did a good job of it, too, until I found out just how NOT alone I am after all. I'm well rid of her, and have found more love, friendship, and support since I've found the rest of you guys in the past few years than in thirteen of marriage to her. Good riddance.

As far as friends and family knowing, yes, there are a few. One of my older brothers knows, as we had a frank discussion about what I'd been up to since the divorce one night. I've long suspected that Dad was a tickler, and so are he and our other brother. I said as much, and the thoughtful look he got on his face when I said so spoke volumes. I've also maintained that the tickling gene is hereditary, as any of you who've met my son know is true! Son of Ticklemonster! And three of my closest vanilla friends also know, whom I love like family, so it's not like a huge stretch there. It helps that they're not TOTALLY vanilla, just not ticklemonsters like yours truly, so while they may not "get it" about tickling, they have their own things that work for them, so I draw the parallel that way.

It's all good. But no... not everybody knows, nor do they have a need to know. You want the truth? You can't handle the truth! 🙄

My wife certainly knows; she's the main one to tickles me. She is understanding but not really into tickling and not ticklish. My son is ticklish and knows about my interest; he sometimes teases me about looking at tickling on the internet. I have a coulple of tickle friends in the real world who know and we tickle each other. That's about it. My job requires a very conservative appearance so I cannot discuss it there.

I would guess that all of my family knows. (Mine is a small family anyway.) I've always had a thing for tickling feet - even long before I became sexually aware - so my folks probably recognized my interest before even I knew where it was going. It's never discussed, with one exception...

When I was a teen-ager my interest in tickling and feet must have become fairly obvious. One day my dad (long since deceased) came up and clear out of the blue he began a discussion of sexual fetishes. He said that he wanted me to know that everyone had something different that interested them... some folks liked butts and some liked breasts... there were people in the world who were turned on looking at elbows. The point he was making was that I shouldn't feel odd if I had some body part that I preferred over another.

It's a lesson I took to heart. I don't tell everyone I meet about my fetish because it's none of their business. Still, I don't hide in fear that someone will find out. When I was single I told (or at least demonstrated) my interest in tickling to most of the girls I seriously dated. My wife knows, and I was careful to discuss my desire for tickling as foreplay before we married.

My best friend is a closet tickler in that he is not on TMF but tickles all of his girlfriends regularly...he doesn't find it sexual just fun, forplay really.

Another of my friends WIFE's is a ticklphile...also not on TMF(or not that I know of) but obviously into tickling...always tickling my friend and whenever I tickle her she just laughs and takes it because as she told me once,"you tickle great" and gave me a wink and a kiss on the cheek. the only family member i ever told was my mother. i had to explain why i was throwing out a bunch of "tickle toys".
i always assumed she told my dad, but may not have. last week we were discussing this and that, and i mentioned i was a perv. she gave me this hororfied look, i knew then she had forgotten my admission a few years earlier.
how to put this... i don't think it's any buisness of my family what i like to do with a lady. it's sexual ,and polite families don't discuss their sexual activities with eachother.

As far as family who know, there isn't anyone I've told, but they do know I enjoy or enjoyed it as a kid. They seem to like teasing me periodically about playing with an aunt's feet when I was a preschooler, as well as doing it with other ladies' in the family around the same time. So now, I'm ultra-careful not to reveal anything, just because I'd never hear the end of it, teasing wise! LOL. Friends, too, may suspect, but I also am low-key there, too. Smiley, what's even sadder is they didn't use that excuse.....they lied and said I'd broken the forum rules; actually "suspended" me for 30 days, which is now at 100+ and counting. I learned later from two mods that the suspension was all a farce; it was determined weeks earlier to boot me permanently because I admitted to being kinky....because I posted an off-topic poll "Do You Have A Fetish"? (and 90% of the 140 votes cast were YES!!!).

The real motivation wasn't the admins own religious or moral convictions...it was their lust for power; to have the most popular weather forum online, and since their pitch was "come here...join us in a christian, family friendly enviroment"....they couldn't have anyone; especially a leading poster and severe storm forecaster admitting to what they considered "perversion" (it was bad for business). They aren't hypocrites as much as they are just full of themselves.
