Do ladies prefer soft tickles? (My experiences)

I very recently had a lady tickle friend (we only meet for our fun tickle sessions and maybe lunch, but we are just friends and she is a really nice person with a beautiful heart who just loves to be tickled) say to me," I love when you tickle me, because you tickle to "tickle" and hear me laugh, and not to torture me, I LOVE that about you!"

Now that was a beautiful compliment.

I think many ladies (in my experience) prefer a soft, teasing tickle, and I love the laughter that slow, teasing tickling produces. She and some of my other lady "tickle" friends have expressed a preference for this type of tickling (on some rare occasions they like the tickling to be a little more agressive), but while ladies tend to tickle in this manner, my lady friends prefer for personal reasons to be tickled by a man (thats me, fortunately).

I have on many occasion produced more laughter with a Q-tip than with rough, hard, agressive tickling.

With great music,
Soft rope,
and slow, teasing tickles (what's the hurry?)

we have a great, fun time!

So what do you think, ladies?

is a soft and slooooow teasing tickle your preference?
Judging by the wonderful responses and the great laughter by my lady friends, it sure seems to work for me! (smile)

"is a soft and slooooow teasing tickle your preference?"

Yes, it is my preference. Mostly out of physical necessity~I am a big wimp, I hate pain and I bruise easily, so there ya go! :smilelove
XOXO

I don't know if I've met anyone who's been good at a slow teasing tickle to know. I certainly enjoy it when it's intense. But like Steph, I bruise easily, too. So I have been really torn lately thinking I should give up on the intense sessions because of the bruising. Luckily my boyfriend isn't rough, but it's unfortunate, too, because it leaves me wanting more.

Well, on the upside, at least for me, I can go a LOT longer when it's less intense. :happyfloa Yippee! Hee!
XOXO

Add me to the list of gals with tender, easily bruised skin. Been that way since I was a child. My parents had a hard time trying to convince the doctors back then that they were not beating me senseless on a daily basis.

I don't mind more aggressive play, but a real hard touch only hurts and bruises, and that just sucks. After my first play party a couple of years ago, on the way back home, my tummy, ribs, and back were so bruised I could not breathe without pain. It took a week before my midsection was not tender to the touch. You can tickle and play aggressively without physically maiming your lee. Lazzy and I do it all the time, and trust me, he is anything BUT soft and teasing with me when we have a session going!

That said, I do truly love a long, slow, light, teasing tickling. SOOOOOO yummy, and quite possibly the most delightful sensation in the world. Full body shivers, quivering from head to toe, and all the while wanting more and more and more. *sigh* There is so much joy to be had in ticking.

Kudos to you, jaba, for discovering that luscious side of tickling. Lucky is any lady who gets to be your lee. 😉

i do enjoy sof tickles, it actually tickles more cause its slower, and sometimes intense tickles hurt

Phhh, I can't stand soft tickling. I'm like "When does this start to tickle?" Count me in for the full-out-tickle-me-till-I-turn-colors tickling.

I LOVE it soft and slow

:feets: I love this question! Yes, I love soft tickles. There is nothing more exciting for me than being restrained and feeling the long drag of a feather <<<<---- stroking my bare soles and toes. I soon begin to giggle and laugh as the feather gradually stimulates my sensitive spots between my tender toes. My bf is sooooooooooo patient with the feather, and he knows I love it so.

Even being a male I must say, that I prefer soft tickle myself. My experience is, that females prefer that too. But how about other males? Do they really like rough tickling?

I dont like the rough tickles at all. To me it much more enjoyable if I tickle her the way she tickles me..Soft and Slow plus I think it does tickle more :happyfloa

Why be so rough?

To each his own preference, I guess....I just never really preferred the rough, agressive tickling which has the ticklee yelling and screaming and bruised. Yelling does nothing for my fetish to hear a sweet lady laughing.....

I like to slooooowly explore my lady friends body and we both get a thrill when I find just the right tickle spot and teasingly stroke and nibble there for while and enjoy the symphony of giggles...then it's on to find the next "giggle spot" ( you can't hide the tickle spots from me, 😉 I find every one of them eventually), and the soft rope keeps her from escaping the tickling sensations until it is time to move to the next fun tickle spot.

And even better, my lady friends tell me that when we conclude they are stress free and sleep like babies afterwards. I don't know how a lady can sleep like that when she is sore and bruised from a tickle encounter....

My friends and I usually can't wait until our next tickle encounters and we go crazy trying to find the time to fit more tickling into our schedules. Waiting for soreness to subside and bruises to heal would be frustrating.....

Slowly finding, stroking and tickling the right tickle spot usually gives me the treasure of laughter that I really love and the irresistable tickle sensations that she seeks.....There is no sweeter sound on earth to me........you should at least try it....light tickle strokes in the right spots usually sends my lady friends giggling into the next "tickle galaxy"......

Now, what better fun can be found? :xpulcy:

I prefer to watch and perform the slow stroke of a single index finger from heel to toes and back -to that of the franatic spider tickling and scraping!
I would particularly like to perform this procedure on the soles of actress Rachel McAdams, who I just saw in "The Wedding Crashers" today.
Lots of foot shots and Rachel's character (Let's say Rachel herself)says the world "TICKLE" in one scene :xpulcy: ....Boy! Do I need a pair of feet bad!!!

yeah, me too...

I have to say I prefer it soft too, although sometimes too much soft can kinda make you want to crawl out of your skin... 😉

thank you, Mimi....

Thank you Mimi, that is sweet of you to say....

OOOOhhh I sooo agree. I'm a bloke and the slower, lighter and more teasing the tickling the more...and more...and more I love it (both as a giver and receiver of tickles). OOOhh its suucchh a gorgeous feeling!!!
Wow is it getting hot in here or is it just me !!!

Hard vs. Soft

I keep hearing all these posts about how bad the hard tickling is because of the bruising and the aching...to me this is an indication that hard tickling IS bad not because of its application but because of the incompetence behind most of it. I'll admit, the first chance I got at rough, hard digging tickle-torture, I left bruises. This was because I was purely green and had no idea how to do it right. Thankfully, it was Prinny and she's a rock. But in all that time I've learned that hard tickling can be effective without being painful.

Hard tickling works by using the force involved to work on large numbers of sensitive nerves usually insulated by tissue, but you have to apply the right amount of exertion to do that...the difference between torture and PAIN can literally be measured in psi.

SOFT tickling works really well, I'm not even going to lie, but it's effectiveness is limited to a certain number of environmental advantages:

I. A lee in a bound/playful state is more receptive to it from expectancy
II. The lee must be adequately sensitive to begin with
III. "Play" sometimes allows the use of blindfolds, making distinctions between sensations easier

HARD tickles, on the other hand, if used properly, can overcome most of these hindrances, making it useful for all-purpose tickling. The added intensity can also increase the power of the sensations, thus, making the lee laugh louder and struggle more. For people like me, this is a neccessity, as it serves as evidence of how much tickling you're inflicting.

Good examples of hard tickles done right can be seen in TIB's clips...he knows JUST how to probe deep without resorting to brute force.

However, I WILL admit that some people are just too sensitive or that soft tickles create an entirely different and more exhilirating/sensual experience. So for those of you who think I'm denouncing soft tickles...NYAH-NYAH-NYAH-NYAH-NYAAAAAAH-NYAAAAAH!

Ultimately, I think the decision of SOFT vs. HARD depends entirely on what the lee likes and what the ler prefers and is good at. If you dig soft, go soft, if you like hard, go hard. But at least give hard it's credit...it gets a bad rap from overzealous or inexperienced lers.

Please don't beat up the messenger! (smile)

I am only telling you what my lady friends say THEY prefer. Some have had bad experiences with overzealous ticklers (which usually means that the tickler is NOT concentrating on what the lady wants, but what THEY want).

One lady told me that she can "shut down" the sensations when the tickling gets too painful or intense. She said she can not stop the tickle sensation when I tickle lighter (she does not know why she can not stop the tickling sensations with my tecnique), so she laughs and enjoys the tickling. (and so do I).

She says our tickle encounters last a lot longer with the way I tickle......

That, for me (ha ha) is a good thing!

Everyone has their preferences. I really haven't tickled a woman before (not because I don't want to, just have no volunteers), so I have to speak from the occasional switch experience. Because of a medical condition I cannot tolerate really hard aggressive tickling. It becomes very painful very fast. It will GUARANTEE never playing with that ler ever again!

The light touches are intense and simply "killer"! I even use it on guys sometime along with the occasional squeezing they like. But, nothing that would cause him pain. I'm not into pain at all!

It's about respect of the lee's wishes, not getting your tickle "funky" off at someone else's expense. Show me you're concerned about my feelings and you'll get my undivided attention every time!

I don't like them too hard OR too soft... I like them just right. 😀

I am a gentle tickler, it's my nature. And women seem to appreciate that.

I have a friend who loves this tickle style, and she keeps laughing for a while, long after I stop my tickes strokes (she calls it her "laugh attacks" caused by my "tickle attacks".
When she stops laughing, we let her calm down and breath deeply.......then I resume my tickling......she loves little toe nibbles also.....
