Do You Believe In Ghosts

Does anyone here beieve in ghosts? I would not have, except I have seen one. My mother and I saw it in our house. I have also seen one at the Whaley House in San Diego. How about you? Let me know.

No. And even if you hadn't seen the ghosts you believe you have, odds are, it was just a matter of time until you saw something that made you believe, because you process what you see as "ghost" rather than "that's weird".

Interesting way of putting it.

I don't simply because the definition of 'ghost' and ghost sightings seem to vary so wildly. If it was a constant, measureable phenomenon throughout history I might give it a bit more credence, but to me it just seems like a lot of unexplained (or misunderstood ... ?) experiences that a whole slew of people have had and have all described differently that's simply filed under 'paranormal' coz there's no where else to put it.

Then again, I've never had such an experience. Maybe my view would be different if I had like you, texastickler ... ?

I am... I never experienced anything too crazy, although a friend of mine always claimed his house was haunted. I don't know if it was my imagination or subconscious or what, but there were definitely times when I'd feel like someone in the house was watching me.

I think if you have a religion, and you believe people have risen from the dead in those religions than anything is possible. I have never dwelled on my experience but I do believe there are many things out there that can't be explained. Again, thank You all for your honest opinions.

I agree with you for I have a spirit in my home.. its my guarding angel and only comes around when somthing is about to go down.. even my animals accpet it and dont freak when its around.

Actually there are many religions including the ones mentioned that believe in evil spirits and possesion.
