But in its time, Tied and Tickled #1 made a huge impact - it's one that you are still looking for, even now. Tickled in Pink was a popular one as well. Tickle Time may have been the first video ever shot on VHS and released by a major company (Tao?) that highlighted tickling. There were others out there, as well as some amateur producers as well (C&G Videos comes to mind, and a couple of years later EE LTD made somewhat of a splash). Even the Harmony videos that only featured a little tickling were part of the path to the FM Concepts tickling line.
These were not videos with tickling in them; these were tickling videos. Kiri Kelly, Kristine Imboch, Ashley Renee, Whitney Prescott.... these people became iconic because of their work with roots in the 1980s. The work was good at a time when much of the tickling stuff out there wasn't - and it was specific to the fetish, not a bondage video with various play thrown in.
The content and delivery has changed, but tickling with no "extras" has been around for some time. It so mostly still there: hour long videos with plot and tickling, only tickling, but there now exists a much larger platter of lengths, plot-or-no-plot, and sub-play activity within the tickling context, which is itself a sub-play of bdsm.
