Here's a dumb question....I've noticed that under my (and everyone else's) user name there is something that gives their status in the TMF. For instance, Myriads' is 'Tzar of the TMF', and mine is 'Registered User'. Is there an actual set of rank that one can move up if they participate enough in the website, or does it never change? All details gratefully accepted.

your status has to do with the number of posts you have oin the board. I dont know the exact numbers for when you move up in the TMF, though.

Yes, there are a number of levels of user name that you can get by making posts. Somewhere here in the discussion foum there is a post that states the exact levels. I think it was started by NJJen.

Please note the difference between TMF status and Real World: Juniors might be quite old in fact, Regulars might be highly irregular, TMF Experts may still have nobody to tickle, and Masters may be incapable of mastering anything but their computer keyboard... Completely absurd implications, of course, and Moderators may be anything else but moderate! And the Tzar doesn't speak Russian! LOL! 😀

Like someone said earlier, less lurking more cramped fingers. But one note (that is alot of posts to reach master) but it can be a reachable goal. Actually my own fault for not remembering my old signin name and having to resubmit to get back in here. Memory aint what it used to be my friends. The heat in Texas isn't helping my thinking either.

Do these ranks corrolate with any military insignai: Like stars, eagles, Maple leafs and butter bars?
Maybe we could get these only modified with the TMF logo to wear so if we encourter each other in real life we would not only mutuall recognize each other, but know who was the deeper addict.
Just a thought.. and i am joking...

No specific perks come with the higher levels, but I do notice people who contribute, and add to the forum with their posts.
If, and when, the time comes for me to pick a new mod or two, it's those folks who I'm going to look at first.
And for all those who joke about custom names, If I feel someone earns one I'll do it.
