Has anybody here have the experience of going into the wrong washroom? I had one recently at a fast food place when I thought I was going into the men's room and I sat down on the toilet when I realised that I didn't notice nay urinals when I went in. I started to get up to make a hasty exit when a lady came in and sat down in the other stall. For a few horrified moments I waitd till she was finished and left and then I made a quick descreate exit myself. It's been the most embarassing moment for me in a long time and one I hope never to repeat. Anybody here have a similer experience?

There's a way famous 3-story bar in old town Sac that's famous for it's confusing signs~it's been round forever. Everyone fights to sit at the table that's closest to it so you can sit and laugh at all the embarrassed patrons who walk in and crawl out... 😛

This is an old story, but it bears repeating here. John Barrymore once stumbled into a women's restroom in a restaurant where he was dining (and drinking). As he was relieving himself, a woman walked in after him and exclaimed indignantly, "Sir, this is for ladies!" Barrymore turned around, without zipping up, and replied, "So is this, my dear, but every now and then I have to run a little water through it." (This anecdote was reproduced in the movie My Favorite Year starring Peter O'Toole.)

I once went into a McDonalds that was a literal carbon-copy of the McDonalds in my hometown (which I had worked at for a couple of months and was very familiar with).
The only way in which the two establishments differed was in the placement of the restrooms: They were switched. Needless to say, I marched right into the ladies room without looking at the sign at the door. I walked in, wondered briefly as to why there weren't any urinals, noticed the sanitary napkin dispenser, and then ran for my life.
Frickin' McDonalds.
