The theme songs to Airwolf and the Dukes of Hazzard are two of my favorites (and just as cousins Bo and Luke, I'm also "just a good ole boy....never meanin no harm" 😀

Cheers,The Smurfs(just because it has that annoying quality of getting stuck in people's heads if ya hum it often enough😀 )...the Star Trek NG theme(makes me think of my lil brother who is a trekker(trekkie..meh whatever)).
 
I like most TV show theme songs out there but one always sticks in my head-THE ROCKFORD FILES. Daanaaadedelitde.

Oh and that damn song. I cant rembmer the show, but the song goes like this. Daaa Daaa Daa Da Da. Da dum dum dum. Daaa Daa Da Da. It's a game show song from the early 70's. Not saying I like it but once you hear it you cant beat it out of your head with a sledge hammer.

Hey, Buggs! I can't tell what tune you mean without any notes or time signatures to help, but I did find the following. Scroll down and you can click on theme song samples from a whole bunch of game shows. Maybe the one you're referring to is among these.

Buggs, if you could break those down into standard notes of the music scale: a,b,c,d,e,f, & g, and their respective flats and sharps, that would make it a lot easier.

I have a feeling the song you're thinking of may be from the "Dating Game"... there were two used on that show; one was called "Whipped Cream" and the other was "Spanish Flea", both by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass. I think those are great songs, though.

The only thing I can think of is it alomost sounds like the theme they play during final Jeopardy (on Jeopardy), when teh contestants are coming up with their final answer (question).

I would have to say The Muppet show was one of my favorites (i still love them) How about The Ateam, Cheers, The Dukes of Hazzard, Airwolf, Hill Street Blues, and Night Court?

None of the Beatles could read or write music, either. Hell, Elvis couldn't even play a guitar very well.

I really want to help you find that game show theme song, Buggs. Can you remember even the tiniest detail about the show itself?
 
Well just because they could doesn't mean I can. Might as well ask me to write in Swahili. Ain't going to happen. No I dont know any more details other than it was a cheesey game show in the early 70's. I know once you know the song you will be like "Oh that damn thing" it is a very recognizable game show theme from the early 70's. The game show didn't last that long. But eveyone at that time knew that song. What I did above is the best yoru going to get cause I don't know how to write music. I do know that what I sounded off above was done with a horn.

I find that the older theme songs seem to have a beat this is catchy. Many had words to sing along with. A lot of the newer ones dont
