"Strange things are afoot at the 7-Eleven." --Ted
And strange foot things are afoot online lately. I recently posted about how it seems that there's been an influx of Facebook ads featuring barefoot women selling products such as beanbag chairs, bedding, hammocks, and other such products. Now, I understand that these are lounging products, and that women would be more likely to be posed barefoot when modeling in them----and I realize that Facebook algorithms can figure out my "likes" and target related ads to me----but I Googled "bare feet, Facebook ads" and found a buttload of people in forums asking about this influx of feet-heavy ads, so it might have gone beyond the algorithm and could be a marketing trend. There's even a term I see now and then in the comment sections of these ads: "feetbook ads." Unfortunately, I also came across some stories about creepers in our community who aren't helping our image:

As far as this actress is concerned-----would she be as quick to call this a creeper scam if the producer had asked for a boob or pussy shot? Just sayin'......
