Furry tickling?

Some on this forum have suggested that since we as a community engage in a fetish ourselves, we've no right to regard <em>any</em> other fetish in a negative light. Again, I agree with this principle as it applies to <em>harmless</em> fetishes, but that's as far as it goes.

I think that consent is the word which is important. Most obviously, Paedophillia, Beastiality and Necrophillia are not consentual activities.

They certainly can be. Children can give consent by just saying yes. Animals can give consent by not resisting. A person can say, "Hey, you can have sex with my body after I'm dead."

I personally don't see the introduction of consent making these three particular fetishes any less dispicable. Do you?

I think most people that are bothered by it aren't really bothered by the concept of a furry fetish. I suspect they are more annoyed with the way some of these people present themselves as though they actually are furry creatures.

Roleplaying is fine, but it must be negotiated and not assumed. Not long ago a girl described herself as having a tail. Some were annoyed that she stated this as fact rather than saying "I like to imagine myself with a tail," or something similar.

So what? Yes, maybe it's ridiculous, but my God, she wasn't hurting anyone by claiming she had a tail. Big deal.

Maybe it's not my cup of tea, but I honestly couldn't care less whether someone chooses to present themselves as an animal/vegetable/mineral/color/number/concept/whatever.

I could really care less. I've got a uber fucking dope anthro sig pic from The Bandito and I don't encompass any of those animal-esque limbs. And the broad still looks hawt.

Anyway, nice to know that we apparently have some other furries here too ^v^

One of the things I like about tickling, as a furry, is that animal limbs, like wings or tails, can be put to good use. I know of several felines that like using their tails. My char has tailfeathers, being an avian, and they are much more effective X>

Out of curiosity how would this work? I can see you writing online these things such as your tail does this or that...but how would it work in person when there is no wings or tail that does as you say...? Is it then a cosplay kind of thing...?

Purr: Pretty much. There is a sect of the fandom that likes to "fursuit" which is dress up as their char in costumes ranging from simple to elaborate. Generally though roleplaying is limited to online interactions, though some do cosplay in meatspace, I won't go into that here as that is beyond the scope of this topic
