Well they are just asking me stuff. If you go by that drinking relation, than that means you cant talk drinking with anyone under 21, as well as tickling with anyone under 18. I've even told them, I wasnt sure I I should be talking to you since you are not 18 and they said we are just talking...I duont know...

Yeah, but the difference is, all we do is talk about tickling here! If it's all about 'just talking', then he would be allowed to join the TMF despite his age.
 
You clearly want to, you're probably going to continue to, why do you feel that you need our validation all of a sudden? This is a decision that you're competent to make on your own. But, a word of advise; it would probably be best not to let the discussions get sexual, or flirtatious. Really anaylize yourself OBJECTIVELY and ask if you can carry on an online relationship without this happening. And, make a moral decision from there.
 
As far as questions concerning this site, I would say no. This is a site for those over the age of 18 and directing minors to it would only cause problems.

Go on the side of caution...just say no. I know it's exciting to meet someone who wants to talk about tickling, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I had this happen two years ago. Someone caught me on messenger and wanted to talk tickling and "cyber" and the like. I found out they were 16. I talked to this boy like he was my son. I explained that there are outlets for what he is feeling that will not involve him getting mixed up with people twice his age. I don't remember the entire situation/conversation but he was confused and needed someone to talk to about how he was feeling. I gave hime some of my time and was very careful to not even imply there was more to it than that.

I realize I was taking a chance but I felt like I wished someone had taken the time to talk to me when I was that age and tell me I'm not wierd or strange...at least in this area...and he felt better. I never chatted with him again after that.

Always keep in mind that there are "authorities" posting as young girls to track down pedophiles...not saying or implying that you are in any way...just a point of caution!
Either way, you should not get into anything sexual and simply treat your converstation, much like Toyou, as you would a son or daughter.
 
When I've gotten mail over the years from people who are underage, I generally let them know that I will not discuss adult sites or sexual context of tickling. If they're willing to adhere to that, I'll continue communicating. But, the vast majority have wanted more than that. They may get it elsewhere, but not from me. AFA specific mention of the TMF, as Ray stated, it could only lead to problems. We chase enough minors away until they're of age. We don't want to invite others to look into sneaking in because of something they heard that they couldn't resist.

Although I partially agree with the others, I mean geez, the way you people talk...you would think you all believed that there aren't people under 18 on here.

There are many teens who can talk just as well as an eighteen, twenty, or even thirty year old. About politics, tickling, sex..anything...

I'm not stating that I know anything, but I would bet that if even 20% of this forums more uncommon visitors were investigated, it'd be found that almost all of them are under 18.

This is just personal opinion, and my two cents.

And now the other issue in the thread:

There are no members of this site that I know are under the age of 18. If I find a person is underage their account is suspended. Period.

Is it possible that there are smart minors on site that never say a thing, or interact and pass as adults? Sure. But I have no way of knowing. Until there is some universal internet ID that follows a user about, that a site owner can ping to get info we never will. This is just a fact of internet life. One cannot know unless the person says.

We ask that no minor ever be directed toward or encouraged to surf the TMF. It's a legal mess just asking to happen. We wish to stay here for our adult users.

One more point to ponder...think of what might happen if this person's Parents find out what you are talking about with their children....and then decide what risks you are willing to take...

I don't know when Americans got so uptight about sex. This is really no reflection on any of the posters of this thread but what is the problem talking to someone about sex?

As a parent, you are encouraged to talk to your child about sex before they are 18. They don't arrest parents for that. Schools talk about sex to young people under 18 and advise them. They are not shutting down the schools.

You SHOULD advise young people. You should answer questions. Answering questions does not constitute pedophillia. It is a tradition that was passed down long before this current paranoia. It is important, not wrong.

I am definitely scared for this country and where we are going. I blame this current administration and I blame the American people for putting up with this kind of fear.

Again, I mean no insult to anyone who posted on this thread. I am just scared to death at how uptight many Americans as a whole have become.

I dunno Max..As a parent..I agree..and as for the schools.I also agree..Something just strikes me wrong about a faceless screen name teaching or talking to minors about sex or fetish materials..

Have to disagree on this one my friend....I think that we should not be advising unknown minors on issues like these....

because not everyone is like toyou (I thought that was beautiful, btw). there ARE people out there who would try to play with the head of a child developing their sexuality, for their own sexual gain. and the harm a person like that could do... is hard to weigh against the good a conversation with someone like you or toyou would do. but at least it’s not so hard to find out that you are ok these days. if they know how to IM, they know how to do searches.

Well I wouldn't encourage the person to come onto the site for the obvious issues of predators and legal issues however you would be naive to think that there aren't people underage here that lurk about. (I was under 18 the first time I came here) For the most part the site isn't that sexual however I think the biggiest issue is worrying about them meeting with other people... So I don't know what to tell you?

Is it wrong for me to talk to a 16 year old ( I'm 18 btw. Will be 19 8-14-2004, but anyway) about tickling? This person NEVER posts just reads. They found out how old I was and wanted to talk becaue they feared the reprimaned of other members. He/She/ still never posts, but only talks to me, never anything sexual. Am I wrong for doing this?😕
 
I don't see why it would be a problem. If you believe so, than you hold tickling as a dangerous thing.

Tickling on a whole is never dangerous, or sexual. It is fun play. Performed by children as young as 2.

There are always different conversations you must shun, but on a basic whole...just talking about tickling can never be bad.
 
Max, I wish the things you said were true, but alas, this is America. I am saddened that sex has to be hidden and forbidden and shameful, thus causing SOOO many problems. Sex therapists must LOVE this country.

Look, I have no doubt some pedophiles visit this place. Every now and then there is a thread from some guy asking where he can find pictures of kids or teens tickled. The thread is usually pulled. Thank you, moderators, great work. I don't know if you ban them after that, as you would anyone under the age of 18, but I suggest you do. Those people are FAR more of a threat than a flame bater, or a rude poster.

The damage that pedophiles have done to children in this country and around the world is immeasurable. They have basically taken down the Catholic Church in America - the pope condemned the war in Iraq, and everyone laughed at him. That would never have happened before.

The damage to children is horrifying - some commit suicide, some become criminals and end up in jail, most become broken and severely screwed up adults, many become pedophiles themselves, thus continuing the legacy of evil, and one guy in Louisiana actually became a terrorist, who sent phony Anthrax letters, costing the state millions in investigative costs.

If minors were allowed here, these perverts would pose as teengagers themselves, find these kids, and destroy their lives for their own gratification. That's where the big problem is. They set up a meeting with what they think is a teenager girl, and they open their door to see a 200 lb, 40 year old pedophile standing there, what they hell are they going to do?

Just look at what adults have to go through here. People who attend NEST gatherings are surrounded by a group of people, I'm sure there are well prepared plans and policies for new arrivals, and safety of the members. Models for tickling shoots, aside from getting hundreds of dollars an hour in payment, usually bring bodyguards with them to the shoots.

If lawmakers saw that this site allowed in minors, we'd be history.
