Thanks Everyone!
Thanks so much for the Birthday Wishes Everyone! Tonight I'll be going out to dinner with my son, his wife and some family friends for a fun dinner.
My Life is just so amazing. Last year was filled with immense joy with my move farther north in California, my son's wedding and lots of other great stuff. Then it ended with incredible sadness at the passing of my Mom. Each part of it was an adventure the strengthened the spirit and expanded the love that surrounds me. I am truly blessed.
This year will be equally exciting for me although I hope at an easier pace than last year. I've finally had a few months to settle into my home after living with my Mom for so long. My son and his wife have moved to their own new house up the road a bit. I'm unpacking boxes and putting stuff away that I had forgotten I had. And there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I only have about 12 boxes left to unpack.
I'm in the midst of landscaping my backyard, cement patio is poured, and it should be done just in time for me to leave for several weeks. LOL
I'm off on a business trip soon, heading to India for about 5 weeks. I'm so excited to have this opportunity to visit their beautiful country and to work at our facility out there. They've put me in a 5 star Hotel and I have my own driver! I'm going to be SO spoiled when I get back!
My life is proof positive that it just keeps getting better. Oh, we hit bumps in the road along the way but those are just lessons to be learned. For me a positive outlook and loving family and friends are the blessings that make this life so incredible and filled with joy. Well that and all that darned tickling! LOL
