Happy Valentine's Day!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I have been dating this guy Jon since the end of November. Met him at New Horizons which is a group that my Occupational Therapist told me about. It's a social group for adults on the Autism Spectrum where we do fun activities with each other. Made reservations last week at an Italian restaurant that we're going to tomorrow night.

So, what is everyone else doing? Just curious.

For Valentines, I will be going to class, working my ass off on more than a few projects and then coming back to my apartment and going to bed. 😀

My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentine's Day yesterday because he works Thursday night.

I made reservations two days ago for this Mediterranean place by my apartment. It's way cool. You have your own room sectioned off by surrounding curtains. You sit on the floor with a bunch of pillows. And they have hookah there.

Unfortunately, dumbass slept through the reservation. He took me to a nice Italian restaurant instead, but it wasn't as cool. He says he'll make it up to me though.

We're going to a tattoo party on Saturday. Perhaps he'll make it up to me by buying me a tattoo.

Doesn't much matter to me why it was declared notable. I dig a holiday focusing on love. It's lively today, and through the weekend, and that's ALL good to me. 🙂

Well, since the boyfriend foiled my plans on the day we were supposed to celebrate, he's insisting on coming over tonight before he goes to work.

I'm guessing he has something up his sleeve, but I'm not getting my hopes up. He's a bit of a dope, but I love him.

Anyway, some cheesy bastard took a whole mess of vegetables and spelled out the words "Be Mine" in carrots and celery stalks in the snow in front of my building. Sucks to be whoever that was for. How weird.

So things turned out great. My boyfriend brought me a dozen pink roses and I made him dark-chocolate covered cherries.

Like Mairead, Zoe and I went to an Italian Restaraunt, and did some slow dancing afterwords being that they wanted their place of business to have some romantic enlightenment. I got her a Teddy Bear that's wear a shirt entitled I HEART MY MOMMY, something for her and the baby. And she got me chocolates, as I have a mouth of sweet teeth, and two concert tickets to see THree Days Grace which is also my birthday.

It was nice, I had never celebrated Valentine's Day before.

The same reason other days are special; because we decide they are. Valentine's Day is a nice oppotunity to do something just a little cuter/sillier/more romantic or extravagant for your lover than the other 364 days of the year, that's all
