Well stated leafstk!!! Don't let NT bother you. He is not right with the world. He is a little off center. I think someone dropped him on his head when he was a baby. If you notice, he even went out of his way to use a line that somebody else uses. He couldn't even be original!!!

those 5 fans equal the hockey fans throughout the US...when i mentioned black people i wasnt trying to play the race card...im saying that hockey and nascar both want to get more minorities to their sport...and i knew u would try and throw in your black friends that like hockey to prove me wrong...if i generalizing blacks and hockey with what i said then u r doing the same damn thing...the only people who care about hockey r u 13 hockey fans...i dont watch baseball like i watch football but i'll tune in to a game here and there and keep up with news...people dont do that with hockey unless u r a true fan of that sport...the fuckin league changed its rules to attract more people...and u wonder y people could care less about this sorry sport...no one cares about the hockey championship...same structure as the nba and mlb but it doesnt attract the same excitement....except from hockey fans

Look at the games and you know that hockey is thriving again. You can equate hockey and basketball. Same amount of games in the season and all 4 rounds best 4 out of 7. But if you also notice that there are blacks playing hockey as well. You really should do some research before you come out here pumping your chest making like you know what you are talking about but in reality, you don't. Btw,( that means by the way fiend05) every year ALL SPORTS including football and basketball go through rule changes. EVERY YEAR!!!! Look at football, once upon a time you could hit a quarterback regardless without penalty. Now all quarterback wear skirts and if you breath on the QB you are flagged with a 15 yard penalty. That rule came in vogue in like 1981, I believe. Now the big thing is instant replay. That isn't a rule change in the last 7 years? So don't tell me how hockey changed their rules. ALL LEAGUES have rule commitees. You really should research before you come out here. You know nothing. I'll bet you are like 18 to 20 years of age. Which would explain why you are annoying. I haven't seen 18 in 20 years. Yield to the man who has seen more sports accidently than you have on purpose.

I've posted before that I'm not too thrilled with some of the rule changes, but its still early in the season. It's still an adjustment period.... the quality of play, flow of the game, number of penalty calls. I'm sure it will all turn out for good come feb/march.... I just don't want to see games being called in the playoffs the way they are being called now, that's for sure. I mean, you gotta be able to play defence, clear the front of the net, etc.. Will be interesting to see how it pans out over the course of the season 😀

As ticklingfeet4u said, hockey will always thrive in traditional hockey markets. Its unfortunate to see that original 6 teams like Chicago and Boston still have their struggles, but once they put a winning team on the ice that will change. I've never been big on expansion, especially to places like Nashville, Florida and San Jose. Yet its interesting to see how hockey has really flourished in San Jose and Phoenix of all places. Well, as I said... just glad the game is back for those of us who do appreciate the game 😉 😀

Eliminate the 2 line pass rule and goalies can't wander beyond the goal line. That is it. So you not even knowing that the Capitals outdraw the Wizards 2 years ago tells me that you are VERY unsure of yourself. And that your facts are flawed. So your last 2 sentences are retarded because not only do I understand what you are attempting to write but you also have NO CLUE about hockey. Why don't you just leave this thread alone? You don't watch hockey and you don't like hockey. GREAT. I am happy for you. So leave us alone. Or don't you understand the concept. Should someone read it to you? You actually have NO CLUE what you are talking about. The Capitals have outdrawn the Wizards in attendance 12 of the last 15 years. Look it up. If it's the Wizards town and the Capitals are a non-entity then why do the Capitals outdraw them? By the way, two of the three years they outdrew them was the lockout season of 1994-1995 and the 2004-2005 season. So PLEASE don't tell me you know about the Wizards and Capitals and who's town it is. Because apparently you don't know. I will take time to give thanks to the Elias Sports Bureau for the attendance figures over the last 15 years for the Washington D.C district. So tickle fiend how do you explain your statement that basketball is more popular in the Nations Capital than hockey? What is your frame of reference? I am really curious. If it's any consolation, I don't think the Canes' will be atop their division either when its all said and done...same goes for Montreal 😉 Philly should finish first in their division, but it may be a dog fight between the Devils and Rangers... who knows? 😀
