Hoodlums choose the wrong dog to shoot

Alright, so these assholes in Texas had been going around shooting random people's dogs, when they happened to enrage the last dog owner you'd ever want to mess with:

I feel so bad for Mr. Luttrell, but man ... what a badass.

This shows the bad guys that you don't always run into someone who cowers and dives for cover. That SEAL exhibited remarkable restraint in not offing those creeps when he could have. If he had a vehicle that could catch them....who knows. They don't train SEALs to be gentle.

Damn, a navy SEAL? From what I hear..not everyone can withstand their training methods..you have be pretty tough. These guys are sooooo lucky that he restrained himself..they wouldn't of had a chance.

I'm pretty sure these guys will get what's coming to them because some states put people in prison for unlawful cruelty to animals or a huge fine that costs in the thousands.

Kudos for him in exercising the restraint he did and not falling to their level. I'm not sure if I could have done the same. They have no idea what their selfish vileness does to others who must now suffer with being their victims. They took something dear from people, a creature that was not a possession but a beloved family member.

Nothing actually happened, aside from an ex-navy SEAL telling them how wrong and bad they were after a lame chase.

The news article even mentioned that the shit heads in question were charged with the death of "Non-Livestock." Basically, that means, if it don't bring home the bacon for Uncle Sam's pockets, then it ain't meanin' shee-it!

Could somebody please explain where the triumph in this story is??? What exactly do you people think is actually going to happen after all is said and done? How many people have been given stiff criminal sentences for a rash of housepet killings?

The fact that they didn't get away with it is satisfaction enough for me. They're exposed, the neighborhood knows who they are and I seriously doubt they'll be in that man's backyard ever again.

It's too bad that the penalty isn't stiffer, but that's the way the laws work....for now. It's too bad that the Navy Seal didn't have his way with them but then he gets charged with anything from assault to murder. Life is definitely not fair, but at least they didn't get away with it.
