Horrible experience at Pandora's Box Dungeon

Tickleabuse, are you serious about letting your models get tickled in pvt sessions? If its true, its like the greatest news ever! You should start a new thread.

I will, when everything is set up. I have A LOT of girls who want to do it. Tasha, Brooke, Remi, Lyla, Lo-Lo, Carmen, and many more. It would come at a premium though, it would be done here at my studio in my equipment, and I guarantee it would worth every penny. I have been reluctant to set up any sessions, but I see there is a need for it, a place for people in the NYC area to go JUST for tickling, to be treated right and with respect.

I've never been to a dungeon, so maybe I'm wrong, but considering that a $100 tip on a $220 bill is nearly 50%, that seems outrageous. It would seem to me that $40, or $50, max, would be appropriate.

Also, her delivery and attitude sound like they leave a lot to be desired.

Personally, I dont think I'd patronize that place again if I paid such a high fee for a tickling session, and got treated like that.

Since when are tips mandatory in the United States? I've lived here my entire life and never heard that before. I thought they were just encouraged. I know a tip is mandatory if you go to a restaurant with more than like 10 people, they usually add a "gratuity" percentage to the total bill.

It's customary to tip most places like salons, restaurants, etc and then, it's only if you get decent/good service.

I guess people in Great Britain know more about our customs than we do 😉

Tipping in any " Service Industry " here in the US and anywhere for that matter is not a Requirement but a bonus. After running restaurants for 25 yrs Tipping is based on service!!!! the average depends on who you talk to but usually ( using restaurants as an example ) is 15 to 20%. Though I do not subscribe to the manditory " on parties of 8 or more being automatically added.. with some patrons I understand it. Current case and point. A frined of mine is a manager in a rest in LaJolla Cali and one day in came Tiger ( yes as in Woods ) big party, he paid and left less that 7% ( and yes they give great service.. even to lowly me ). But I was also taking a party of 10 to a restaurant on Disneyland grounds a few yrs ago ( when I worked for real money ) and they automatically added 15% to the bill. Unfortunately I ended up bussing my own plates and complained to the manager. He agreed and removed th etip and though I did leave something, I tell you now it was less than 10%. Tipping is a GRATUITY based on SERVICE!!! The worse the service.. the lower the gratuity show be.

Isn't it true that a lot of jobs where you receive tips, you get paid an abysmally low wage from the restaurant or whatever? Something like 2.15? I don't know the information off hand that I'd like to reference, but I'm going to drop the book title Nickle and Dime'd here. Wish I knew more about it so I could participate in this discussion. Oh well. Book deals with minimum wage in the U.S., with waitressing being one of the topics/jobs the author worked. Apparently she barely lived through the year, but etc.

As far as I know, that's restaurants though; dungeons are different. I do know a masseuse but I've never asked her about her pay. She does say that she lives off of gratuity though. Maybe the situation is like that, for this dungeon? I dunno. I doubt it.

That's horrible. I have never had that happen to me in Philly at the Royal Castle. Tommy I would love for you to open your place, equipment and female ticklee's for tickle sessions...count me in. I have been inquiring to a couple of dungeons and submissives/switches in NYC about doing a tickling session. I have a couple of options I am looking at however, it is pretty expensive for an hour session at $300 to $350 plus a tip. If I have to tip another hundred bucks then add traveling expenses and it's going to be a $500 session...damn. I can afford it, yet it seems like it's not going to happen i have never tickled someone for an entire hour anyway. If someone would do half hour sessions at a better rate then I would...definitley

You pay $200 for a one hour session. You pay it to the phone woman who both books sessions over the phone and greets clients as they arrive. The phone woman escorts you to the room that you will use for your session. After you pay, the Mistress (or switch or submissive) comes into the room and you have your session. At the end of the session, the Mistress is hoping for a generous tip but no tip is required.

It would be typical, of the $200 tribute, that the owner of the dungeon gets $100, the phone woman gets $20, and the Mistress gets $80. That why she wants a generous tip and, perhaps, thinks about going independent.

For a switch or submissive the tribute is likely $300 and the above amounts become $150 for the owner, $30 for the phone woman, and $120 for the switch or submissive.

Does that justify that type of treatment? Not one bit. It's just another example of an entitlement mentality in a service-based industry. Like everyone has already said, tipping should be proportionate to the quality of the service provided, and decided by the customer.

I'm with Tickle Abuse on this, and think inviting fans to tickle their favorite girls for a fee is a great idea. Plus, you don't even have to tip! We won't even chase you out, screaming in the process.

I already had a good experience with a local gentleman who wanted to tickle Sarah. Not only did he get to tickle her, but he had a chance to hang out with her and get a copy of the video. It worked out well for everyone. She even gave him her card.

Another advantage of going with a producer vs a dungeon is you already "know" the girl from previous clips.

Sounds like some good ideas for 2010!

In the US a tip is mandatory except for bad service- but she wanted about 50% which is insane. I've never been to a Dungeon, but a waitress in a restaurant would almost never get a 50% tip

I am going to have to start offering tickling sessions here with my girls.The problem is that no way in hell can they take an hour of straight tickling! I am sure they would be more than happy to tickle. I am expanding a little, using my entire place starting in January as a studio, so there would be room for a private session area. I have considered doing this before, but it seems there should be a place where you can go for tickling and only tickling, plus I have some cool equipment.

I have been to PanBox before, and never had that experience. I haven't been there recently, so maybe it's the current managers.

IMO, $20 tip is too low, $100 is too high, but it's up to the individual.

As someone that has frequented the dungeons in NYC; Mike, it does not surprise me you had a bad experience at Pandoras Box. I have never been there, but that is because I had a bad vibe on the phone with them and decided not to set up a session because of that; not to mention they quoted me $300 to tickle one of their mistresses (this was in 2004) which was much higher than the other establishments in NYC.

Tickleabuse:

Having sessions with your ladies would be awesome. One of the best experiences I have had in awhile was at a Tickle Night hosted by Princess Kali in Boston.

Kali ran the tickle night like a foot party with the professional models charging a $30 per 15 minutes with the model of your choice. I would also like to add that Kali had fellow tickleophiles in attendance that were not having sessions with models but hanging out and having thier own fun. Sort of a cross between a tickle party and a gathering.

The only reason I mention this is that Tickleabuse mentioned that the ladies may not be able to take an hour of tickling; maybe this is a way around that problem.

Let me finish by saying to Mike that I am sorry that happened to you, there are good places in NYC to attend and I (as well as others I am sure) appreciate the post in giving us some insight in the way Pandoras Box does business.

In response to Poison's bio... hm. Whether or not it actually reflects her (read: isn't an ad), I can't say, but... well, she wasn't the one to tickle. True, if you're into that sort of thing - that is, tickling women into submission - then she's fine.

I think though, that a dungeon isn't the place to go for tickling, since it isn't especially catered towards our niche. We would need a reliable place like that, but I can't imagine any sort of business focusing on that outside of New York to flourish.

And then to Tickle Abuse, whom I neglected before. I'm familiar with your work, and I want to say go for this private session dealy-o. It works for you especially since you are not going to do just this; you're expanding upon a video aspect, which works very well. I think that Rook's should look into this as well, but I'm not exactly sure where he is located. There are a lot of... hm, problems? that could occur with this sort of thing, though. which I'm sure you've considered, so I'll skip that. I want this to happen and would like to help in anyway I could to make it a reality, but I'm not sure that I have any way that I could (in addition to being poor, I'm not all that close). Have you considered charging less for individuals willing to allow you to film their sessions, and taking that footage to form some sort of collection-clips, or anything like that? I imagine that that would work well. Anyway, yeah I support it a lot, so go for it.

I certainly don't want anyone to feel that a dungeon is a bad place to go. This was actually the first BAD experience I have ever had at ANY dungeon. Rapture was where I had my first amazing session before they were shut down about a year ago, and I think if you find the right place, a lot of fun can be had--only with tickling, of course. Usually this is the case for me and I do not feel like I wasted my money. Providing that I decided I could afford it that month...

Tickle Abuse what about lee sessions? Would you offer lee sessions for a price? That is have your girls tickle someone? Of course I"m in Australia but you never know if one day I will go to the US.
