just a question about a story i might be writing, but how dark should the tickling be? How far down the rabbit hole should the torture continue? I have an idea for a story, and while i think it's a good one, it'll deffinitly be darker then anything i've ever done before. I'm not sure if i'm looking for guidence or input or anything really, but i think some opinions never hurt.

I myself don't like serious torture tickling, and think at the root of it all both people should be having fun.
However from what I've seen, a lot of people here do like hardcore tickle torture, so I don't really know what I can tell you, other than just put in all 100% and let the people decide if they like it.🙂

Well, it's fantasy, right babe? Go with you. Don't whine about lack of response or any of that other stuff that some do here. We might or might not like YOUR vision of it, but if you're making YOU happy, you'll find it fulfilling rather than selling out for the sake of ranking popular...

--- As a writer, I liked Steph's answer,.. but there are still a couple of plot treatment considerations which could weigh on your story. For instance, who's getting tickled? A sweet, innocent little farmgirl, or an insideous Balkan femme fatale? You can get away with more in the latter case, I suspect.
--- Also, you didn't mention anything about the "nature" of the dark edge you're contemplating. Getting totally "dark" in a story which is unbelieveable anyway,.... no great concern. But realism puts the fangs in darkness. Is this a tale which could actually happen?

I believe you right steph,and i shall.
If the person who was recieving the treatement was deserving of it, i agree, i probably could get away with more. However, that will not be the case in this story.
As for the dark edge....well, their is no question that this is a fantasy story, but i think it will be in many ways a more realistic depiction of tickle toture then one usually see's here. It will cover area's that i don't believe have been covered before, like the phsycological effects of prolonged tickle torture beyond the endurance of the target, allong with physical effects. I don'twant to say too much, as it's still very much getting started, but i haven't been this focused in a while now. This is, in essence a story i have wanted to write for maybe 4-5 years, or possibly longer, but was never able to make the pieces fit. I think i can do that now. If you;d like, i can give you a heads up when it's done.

yeah i'm with steph too. write the story the way you want it to be. that's the thing about art everyone is gonna have a different opinion. i think if you write what you want you'll be a happy camper.

Just Do It!
One thing I have learnd resently about working on a story. Do what you want. If you looking for something dark reach into you dark area and do it. Consider this Cos, if there are people who don't like it, they are obviously not the people this story was writen for. Who ever likes it, that is your target audience. Another important thing is be a better speller then me

Cos~I sense your impetus for the question was that at least a part of you felt conflicted about what you were going to write about...for whatever your private reasons are should remain private if you wish 😉 but~Maybe you could preface w/a disclaimer (warning: bloodplay, violence, or whatever fits the tale...)

Good question.
I've written a couple of stories and have a couple in the pipeline. All have in common a similar theme: the lee really enjoyed it deep down.
Just as tickling and torture between consenting folks in real life is good, whatever the description, so it is in fiction. If the victim is someone who hates it and feels raped, the reception here won’t be good. If the victim secretly loved it and the ler knew in advance that she would (or at least suspected it and monitored her throughout the experience), then it’ll probably be good reading.

The general consensus seems to be "Go as deep as you wish", and I agree. It just depends on how deep you plan it to go. Although I find that when I write, I go as deep as planned, but then look back and think "Hmm that's not long enough" and go deeper. Recently I've begun to also include slightly more extreme things such as pantie wetting, but whether that's too deep for some people I leave to them, usually with a note in the topic title or something.

Based on the success of stories from Dave2121, Shadotklr and a grand collection of stories from MTJPUB's incredible magazines I would dare say dark stories have become some of the most popular choices amongst tickling fiction, despite what you said above.
I personally enjoy reading and writing a dark tale. It's fiction, and I like to see tickling pushed to that edge. Much like movies like Saw may feature edgy torture and dark themes, they are popular not because people "like" torture but because they are secretly enthralled with the concept. Much like anything in the horror genre.
To view it in a safe environment for them is something close to watching something taboo, and in my lifetime being in a room with someone being tickled against their will is something I may never see. Yet we've all had dreams, or nightmares, of such things. That's where fiction comes in, and why stories like Asylum Seven, Kittletown and others are so fun to read. 🙂
Thanks for the varius inputs, and their are some deffinit points made that were good. I will do as most of the people recomend her, and write from the heart. This willbe MY story, though i hope others will find something they like in it.
I agree with Jim and Drew's points as well. I will have to find a certain balance, as after all, it is a tickling forum. But i believe i can do that. I also believe though that this story will be different then any i've read here though, so it will be interesting to see the results of that. Wish me luck! 😀
