Cure for Aids. Yes. There was an article I read a couple years back where a German doc cured a guy with AIDs by giving him a bone marrow transplant. Interesting story. Here is a Wall Street article on what happened. Very interesting stuff. Funny coincidence that European caucasians happen to have a mutated gene that gives them a greater resistance to the HIV virus. If you read the article the implications are that by getting a bone marrow transplant from the 1% of europeans that have the mutation you could end up virus free. Those that have the mutation are virtually unaffected by the HIV virus despite VERY risky sexual behaviors. Anal sex has higher transmission rate than any other kind of sex...especially if you're the reciever. Ouch. Anyway it's good news and could be huge. I'm surprised it's not all over the news.

Much of the thinking in the political forums are partisans representing the Dems/left or the Gop/right. I don't see many people tearing away from party lines. It's common knowlege that the US has underground military facilities. I don't know what you mean by underground cities.

A cure for AIDS? Not really likely, but I do know that the AMA and FDA's cynical "cure is not as profitable as the treatment" adage has come to light every now and then.

I remember an episode of 60 Minutes where Mike Wallace exposed some corruption in the FDA for shutting down an independant factory that produced these little discs that could alert a woman of a malignant tumor in her breast at its earliest stages, and, therefore allow her to have it removed before it could be considered even a minor threat.

The FDA spokesman claimed that the device was untested and potentially dangerous to the public (It resembled one of those rubber discs that are used to open sticky condiment jars). Mike Wallace pointed out that other countries use it a lot.

Long story short...

After all was said and done, the Spokesman did not aquit himself very well.

Do I think there are vast underground compounds full of crap the government doesn't want the general public to find out about? Sure! Why do they exist? Well, can we say "wikileaks" here...? Government's for all of history have had some secret or another. Not so much a secret from their citizens as from the rest of the governments of the world. They make/come up with/acquire in some way awesome technology that they aren't ready for the rest of the world to have and want to keep a lid on it. Especially in this day and age when American citizens feel an undying need to post the specs to them online for no other reason than fame and fortune for themselves in saying "I did that. Do I believe they have alien technology? I doubt it. Roswell? I think that was a (at the time) US military toy that crashed out in some dude's yard that they did NOT want getting out. Test flight -> crash -> scramble to pick up the remains, shut everyone in the area up, and run off. Of course, whatever it was is probably old news technology-wise now, but back then it was probably some hardcore stuff that the infamous "Reds" or some other group might use against America or something. You know how they used to think back then. 😛 But seriously, they lucked out that everyone screamed "UFO!". That is WAY easier to deal with to other countries than "THE MILITARY MADE A HOVERCRAFT!" =D

Do I believe they have a cure for aids? THIS I wouldn't doubt if another country made it. I say this because look at HDTVs. You are probably thinking "wtf do they have in common?!" Go look up when it first came out and where. It came out in Japan YEARS (I mean YEARS) before it came out in the US, but it was forbidden to be sold here because US television makers had not managed to create something similar themselves. It wasn't until one of ours managed to put it together that they even admitted such a thing was around. We live in a world where money talks- it wouldn't shock me at all to find out some amazing cure or another existed and was being held back until someone in the US devised it first.

That resistant mutation comes from the survivors of the black death. Interesting I think. However, I haven't read the article, but I know that for a fact.

As for underground cities, there most probably are. After all, there are great catacombs, that stretch over nine hundred miles throughout italy, france, and other places in europe.

In turkey there were great cities built underground by the people who lived there during the days of the romans, I believe they were called Kapadochians...s.


And the earth is filled with caves and tunnels. there's definitely room in there for underground cities.

After all if we can imagine it, it probably exists.

As for AIDS and a cure, of course there is a cure. But if the cure was marketed, the money would eventually run out. Which is why you have money going into medicines that treat symptoms and not diseases.
