Hi Everyone.

I've jus made an article on wikipedia on the tickle chair on howard stern. I'm filling out all the details on all the celebrities he has tickled. Should anyone wish to make additions to it feel free. Here's the link

Why would it get deleted? They have a section on tickling and tickle torture, why not the tickle chair? One can only hope it'll stick.

Well, as someone who has actually looked into how wikipedia works, I can tell you that as soon as that article is spotted it will be deleted. 😱

Unless the 'Tickle-Chair' has gained widespread cover in independent media, then it is deemed 'non notable'.

I see the article is already being considered for deletion. I have to say based on how the article is written I would delete it too. A Wikki article about who is ticklish in the chair and ratings does NOT match up with what Wikki is about. Wikki is not about inane statistics, it is like an encyclopedia. If this was an article about tickling in the mainstream media and listed the tickle chair without mention of celebrities and ticklish spots etc. that would have a better chance of remaining posted.

Sorry man, I have to agree this does not belong on Wikki.

Maybe if you get rid of "body part tickled" and "comments" and just list their name, occupation and add the air dates of the episodes, they will let your article slide.

Good info though, either way.

Maybe you could make another article for the earlier "laughing stocks."
