Hey Everyone. I was hoping I could get some guidance or advice from anyone here. About 2 weeks ago I was having sex and ejaculated regularly. But this time as soon as I ejaculated, I felt a sharp pain at the end of my penis and when i looked at it, there was blood coming out. I have had sex for years now, and this has never happened before. A day or two later i tried to have sex again, and the same thing happened. So I waited about 4 or 5 days before trying again, and i was back to normal. But the next time I tried I bled again, this time only a little, but that pain was still there. I haven't tried to ejaculate in a week now because i don't want the same thing to happen. I don't know what is going on because even when I bled, there wasn't any pain afterwards, just a pinch of blood came out when i first urinated afterwards. But I am still afraid to try anymore. Has this happened to anyone, or does anyone have any advice? I am really troubled by this. 🙁

Get thee to a doctor without delay. You need to find out what is going on,this is not normal.Best of luck to you.

I tried to check this out online, and one reason is that maybe a blood vessel broke, and that after a couple days it would return to normal. It worked before, but maybe I broke it again the next time around or something. Its been a week, so if that is the problem, I should be fine, but who knows. I was trying not to see the doctor about this, but I am not sure what else to do. Thank you for the feedback guys. If anyone else has an opinion, please let me know.

Yeah, you might wanna go have a doc punch your bore for you. You can speculate that maybe you burst a blood vessel and you hope this is nothing too serious, but the only way to know for sure is to find out. Better you nip it in the bud, now. Problems are not like wine. They don't get better with age.

I really think you should just go see a doctor about this, it doesn't sound normal to me. I am concerned about you, you need to go take care of yourself and I hope you're going to be okay. Good luck!

:couch:

I do believe this to be the prostate gland. Could be hematospermia, which doesn't mean you have any kind of prostate cancer, but mainly is just inflammation of the seminal vessels and can be due to a tear in the prostate gland. Inflammation can be caused by a number of things -- too frequent of ejaculation, withdraw of time of ejaculation, sexual arousal without ejaculation, excessive alcohol or spicy foods, extended sitting or bike riding, etc.

You need to see a doctor immediately. Make an appointment with a Urologist ASAP.

Yeah, I figured that not everyone here would know anything, but i can't visit a doctor until at least this weekend, because I am stuck at school. So I figured I would get some opinions on this. Maybe a doctor was a member of the forum. But thanks again for the support and help. I guess the person that posted last knew his stuff. Thanks.

I hate to say this. I dont know how old you are, but this happened to my grandfather. He revealed to the family that he has blood in his semen after sex, and went to the doctor. He was found to have an enlarged prostate gland, which needed surgery. He was 69 when this happened, and the doctor told us this was a common problem for men his age. He had the surgery, and was fine after that, lived healthy for another 10 yrs.
Go to a doctor ASAP, and good luck.

Mitch

I see. I am glad your grandfather was able to get help and live healthy for a longer time. I am 19. So hopefully if anything is wrong, it's only beginning and i can stop it before it becomes a bigger problem.

Dude, with all respect, it's time for a trip the the urologist. I don't have a diagnosis nor do I own your "equipment." But anytime there's bleeding coming from the penis, it's a sign of trouble. Run, don't walk and get checked out for your own good.

See if there's a student services health clinic on campus? And please go to the doctor, even if it's just one of those corner walk-in clinics. Blood coming out of anywhere that's not a cut or that wouldn't normally bleed could mean something serious. And I work in a hospital. Please?
XOXO

I never actually thought about the nurse on campus. Thank you Steph. I am sure they will just tell me to see a doctor, but I will try it anyway. Thanks a bunch.

You're welcome. Actually, they're usually pretty good source of help. I could get pretty much anything I needed when I went to University except for serious emergency services. It's why they're there, for YOU! 😀
Will you please keep us posted?
XOXO

Yeah. I am going to try to see the campus nurse tommorow, and see whether or not I need to see a doctor. If I do, it probably won't be until this weekend. But I will keep you posted. Thanks for all the support. 🙂

Not a problem, it's what I do.
And good luck, you're welcome.

Well I talked to the campus nurse today, and she said that she is not sure what the cause is since there hasn't been any pain or symptoms the last week and a half. She said if it happens again, then consult with my doctor. But I guess there is only one way to find out if it will happen again. :sadcry:

Well as if the original poster didn't know people were gonna say to see a doctor.....

BUT - you have not developed any weird sex or masturbation methods like sticking something down your urethra have you?
That would probably cause bleeding.

Strange, you have implied that it only happens when cumming. I assume taking a leak is not a problem in any way?

A week and a half should be plenty long for something non-serious to heal.

Weird how the thought of having an orgasm could be nerve racking...

Yeah, it is unusual for everything except cumming not to hurt. Urinating doesn't hurt at all. And i think a week and a half is long enough too, if its nothing that serious. No, I don't stick anything down my penis.

Another website I found (which was so dumb I won't even post the address.. they're selling something) did mention broken capillaries as a possible cause, if you overstress the machinery, like ejaculating three times a day seven days a week. If you're doing that, slow down, otherwise go see a real doctor.

Most important, make sure the doctor you choose is in your insurance network...
