well, I *Can* tickle myself but only in certain circumstances. Sonicare will ALWAYS do it in a lot of spots and I often catch myself dragging a nail over my sole because I love the reflex....

That is pretty cool, tickling yourself with a Sonicare...Now I bet a LOT more people would be able to tickle themselves if they used one of those...

Self-tickling

Sure, if you're ticklish enough people can tickle themselves.

When I was about 4 I asked my mother to stratch my feet because I couldn't. She tickled me silly! Then I had to ask her to do it again, because I was tickled, but I still had the itch, and she did it again!

A young adult girl couldn't scratch her feet either.

It's rare, because we become less sensitive, but it's not unheard of. These scientists should get out more - survey the public.

I am another one who can tickle himself. I can do it quite well using light touches and not as well with proding touches (ribs etc.).

I've heard of people that say that they can tickle their own feet. I knew a girl when I was in middle school that could tickle her own feet, if she scratched an itch on her foot it would tickle really bad, and she hated it. She really didn't like being tickled, so I don't think it's always that they don't want to desensitise. she just couldn't
