No tickling models? What a cop out. 😛

In that case, one famous person...phoo...uhh...The Pope, if so I could just see the Pope Mobile.

Famous people are just people, I really can't think of anyone I'd actually make a special effort to meet.

I will meet god one day.. most likely sometime during my last day.... but at the moment I would really like to meet the girl that I can go out with (every other one seems to be bogus or already taken).

Mine would be....

Hank Aaron: To talk to him about the dedication it took to become the all time home run king w/o being an overly burly power hitter.

Bill Parcells: A man I've always admired because of what he accompklished as a coach. In a way, I feel eternally indebtted to him for making the Giants a perennial playoff team (seems like light years ago)

Eddie Murphy: So I can have a good laugh

Phil Simms: A dedicated overacheiver who made the most of himself while QB for the G Men

Rudy G: To bring him back as mayor of NYC

Peter Mansbridge
Haroon Siddiqui
Mohamas Gandhi
Kirsten Dunst
Pierre Trudeau
Bill Clinton
Robin Williams

Easy One..........

.......any Austrialian between now and the next Rugby Union world cup, and especially the Austrialian prime minister to tell him to improve his manners next time he hands out medals to a world cup winning team. That behaviour would never have happened to a victorious Aussy team if they beat us in our back yard, and they know it. very poor show chaps.

Living = Stephen Hawking, Bono, Anna Paquin, John Cusack, and Allan Greenspan

Dead = Einstein, Gandhi, Christ, and the Buddha

Debatably existent = God or any intelligent life forms from outer space

Restricting myself to the living:

George W. Bush. For the deep and abiding pleasure it would give me to beat the crap out of him (and, brother, that's a LOT of crap).

Harlan Ellison. I've crossed paths with him a couple times at conventions, but it'd be fun to spend a longer period with him.

Cameron Diaz. For tolerably obvious reasons. Don't tell Mrs. Shem.

Riverbend. Great writer and observer; it'd be interesting to spend a while with her and see what her life is really like.

Mick Foley.

Thanks for the link, Shem...p. Very interesting read by a very skilled author.

Methinks you like her more than Diaz, no? 😛

Cheers.😀

Harlan Ellison is amazing, one of my "heroes/role models" actually. Yes, he can be mean and vicious, but at least he is honest and you know where you stand with him. That's more than I can say about most of the people I know. The funny thing is that most people I mention his name to have never heard of him.

I'd prolly have to add Larry Niven to that list. Anyone who can write a hysterical essay about the theoretical impossibility of Superman's sex life has got to be interesting!

One of my great aspirations would be to finally meet the woman who calls herself Roseblossom...just to sit someplace, drink expensive coffee, and talk for hours and hours. I think that would be magnificent... 🙂

i think i'd want to start banging my head against the table after 5 minutes, but hey, to each his own! along these lines there were 2 lady tmf member that are no longer around, that i conversed with even after they left, that i should want to meet. true ladies. i'd also like to meet jobelle, can't say enough about her.

No....

celebrities worth meeting these days....

I would opt to meet my daughter, who died
in 1995.

I had never got the chance to say "Hello", and yet I had to find the courage to say "Goodbye."

Not really goodbye, but see you later, as I believe that she is in a better place, and I hope to be there someday too....

Apologies for the rant, please carry on...
