Darlin', I apologize for the crap you've received. There are a lot of people who have no lives and no self esteem who comfort themselves for their misery by using the internet to hurt folks without any risk to themselves. If you can manage, feel sorry for them, and delete their posts.

Stuff like this can be raised to absurd levels.

The policy was first created to verify the reality of several models who started to post on the site in the early '00's. For them a fast photo with a quick chosen phrase by me was more then enough to verify.

I'm not going to become the ID police. I'm not going to demand that a person match a name and image to me for verification. A snap with a coded phrase proves that there is a real person who looks like 'X' able to respond to the phrase request in a short period.

Could it be some woman fronting for some guy? Yup. But then you are getting into a level of deception that is performance art, and frankly a different sort of problem then some guy taking on a female personal for whatever reason.

I apologize to the OP of this thread for having this debate break out in it. But clearly it's become another hot topic around here.

But basically if a person wants to provide proof of gender and general ID I offer the method for it. If a person gets involved in any depth with the community it soon becomes pretty moot, as they will inevitably Skype, have phone interactions, or even go to a gathering and many community members will come to know them. Also members who tend to cycle signature images of themselves on a fairly regular basis build up credibility as it's hard steal a stream of images over long period. Also folks that participate in my weekly image challenges tend to build credibility as creating images to specific ideas is also hard to do from a limited stolen image group.

80% of the fake female accounts we've had can be traced back to one user who has a great desire to have fiction written about 'them'. Always struck me as odd and a lot of work to get some M/F tickle fiction which the Story forum is already full of. I figure the user sees images of a woman he facies, and would like to tickle, so they take the images and create a profile with the idea of getting some stroke material created to serve said fantasy...

But I digress.

OP, welcome, I hope that you are able to become more involved with the community, and given your location, you are quite near a lot of long term members. And if you are looking to go to NHLee you'll be dealing with a lot of long term folks and will get well known.

As far as the accusations go, there have been men in the past who faked being women to cyber with other men. It happens, and typically these fake women come on much more strongly than the real women. Your post comes on stronger than any other I've ever seen, which is probably why so many people are skeptical.

When you post these sorts of things online, everyone can see them, and that means every weirdo can see them. If you are real, I recommend slowing down and hanging around for a while so you can get a feeling for who's a regular and who's messaging you out of the blue wanting to meet up in private.

Send me a message and I'd be happy to take a picture for you holding up a coded sign or whatever it is you need me to hold up to prove to you - and the people here - I'm real. I had no idea I'd have have to prove I was real.. what kind of sick person pretends to be someone they're not? That's just messed up.

And I don't have a car or license, so I'm not fully sure I can go to the NHLee yet, but I'd love to. I've been told it's in August, so I'm trying to work something out with some of the preexisting members so I can get a ride there and back. The main problem for me will be traveling back and forth to the various activities for this getaway in New Hampshire. Hopefully I will be able to figure out a means of transport, and if I do, I will see many of you in New Hampshire very soon.

I agree 100% with your analysis of the situation and your wise advice. I can't blame the OP for being annoyed at some of the reactions, but I also can't blame people for being skeptical.
