The following conversation was recently reported to me, by a person who is now considering staying out of the chatroom... or, at the very least, refusing to PC with anybody, no matter how well she knows them. I shall refer to her as "A," and to the other person involved in the conversation as "B."

The wording is not exact.

B, sends a PC to A without asking first; "Hey. It's my birthday today; I was wondering if you'd cyber with me."

A: "What do you mean?"

B: "Well, I'm a 'lee, and I'm looking for someone to dominate me."

A: "No, thank you."

B: "Well, would you mind if I just jack off while we talk?"

I am sorry to hear that "A" was upset by "B".
I go into the chat room, and some days are better than others.
"B" is not the only person to send unsolicited pc's. I receive some.
I am not clear from your post if "A" is a new user, or a veteran that can easily negotiate the chatroom.
I would gladly pm with "A" if she is new, and needs some helpful suggestions about chatting.
In any case, unsolicited pm's from strangers is a clear rules violation.

I nearly peed my pants laughing when after what I thought was just a normal conversation about tickling ended in him saying "Thanks. I have to go clean up now. I just came on my monitor". It certainly wasn't what I was expecting. I thought we were just two lers chatting. It didn't seem very sexual to me but at least we both got something from the conversation. That's gross and annoying, but it's the internet, people are going to sometimes be gross and annoying. I'd suggest that she should have put him on ignore and that would probably have been the end of it. If he persisted in wanting to say that to her, then he would have broken a rule and could be kicked out of the chatroom.

I guess what I'm getting at is that nobody can protect anyone who is going to be online, from occasionally seeing things like that.

It's all snapshot moments, really. Depends on who's in there when you go in there. I've had one of the women ask me where all the perverted scumbags are that she's heard about, this place isn't so bad, blah blah blah 😀

I've found that the ignore button is the best way to go. It immediately eliminates any gross, or annoying, people, who just randomly pc in the chat, to be irritating.
Through the years, I've had a number of female lers, and even M/M Guys, just pc without asking, and, without even saying hello, type "Tickles Your Feet" , or something even more gross. Most of the time, I either didn't know these people, or barely did. Now, any annoying people, immediately go on ignore, the minute I enter the room. I scan the list, and, if there's anyone I've had issues with, I just put them on iggy. It's far easier to do that, then to deal with annoying, or abusive PM's.
Bottom line, in a chatroom where there are sometimes 30 or 40 people a night, and one, two, or three mods, the mods cannot, and will not, catch all bad behavior. Each person has the responsibility to know who they have had problems with, and put said individuals on ignore. Doing so saves much trouble for both the person themselves, and the mods.

I've gotten unsolicited PC's when I went in to the Chat room. Funny how guys are expected to follow that rule but women never do isn't it?
