I need some advice and I decided that rather than ask a few individuals that I would just post the question on here. 🙂

It's a pretty simple question. If I was going to make a 'toolkit' or whatever you'd like to call it, specifically for tickling sessions, what specific items do y'all think I should make sure not to leave out? (Of course, we're talking about small portable tools, so no suggesting fur-covered bondage tables. Dan. 😉

Small and inexpensive things that I would include:

Two ordinary toothbrushes, two portable electric toothbrushes, two chopsticks, some Q-tips, a hairbrush of the type with the plastic beads, two metal forks (the tines can be effective), two ballpoint pens that are already out of ink, a scrubbing brush, a back-scratcher, and a small bottle of baby oil.

With more to spend, get a silver bullet and a top-of-the-line Sonicare electric toothbrush with attachments.

Although I'm not sure if I should be flattered or offended at being invoked this way, LoL! 😉

I would add that it never hurts to have some GOOD quality lotion in there, and I lean towards Bath & Body Works stuff personally (my current favorite is Warm Vanilla Sugar, but to each their own), and/or some massage oil. Mils mentioned baby oil already, but it's been my experience that it dried out too quickly for our, ummm... purposes. 🙄 And some restraints, obviously. Decent ones are a little cost-prohibitive, but I've been meaning for ages to look into the price of medical restraints instead of the ones you'd shop for at Adult Toy Stores. I'd be willing to bet that they're at least half as much, cost-wise, if not less, and every damn bit as effective. Rope. Lots of rope. Not too thin or thick (and if ya ask really nice, I can get you some of the magic strapping I get from work that's 1800 lbs. test). It needs to be the soft, supple stuff, in case it's gonna come into skin contact, unless the restrainee enjoys rope-burn. If it's too thin, it'll have the tendency to cut off cirulation, and too big'll just be bulky and awkward. (my soft white strapping is really ideal, ask around... and I can get acres of the stuff for free, too, cause we literally throw away thousands of feet of the stuff a week) And a good pair of scissors, in case you need to cut your rope in a hurry, for whatever reason. If I think about it, or somebody reminds me, I'll bring my bag-of-tricks to the next Munch, and ya'll can take a peek.

I've got everything mentioned in this thread in my bag, plus a few other trinkets that I've picked up here and there, too. What a great thread topic! Inquirin' minds wanna know this stuff!

The only other thing I could suggest that hasnt already been suggested by others might be several different kinds of feathers. I've heard that goose feathers and ostrich feathers, if one can find them, work well, as well as other kinds of feathers that can be found in a pillow. I dont know how sensitive the person you are going to tickle is to feathers, since we all have varying degrees of sensitivity, but it would seem to me that some feathers would be an advisable instrument to have as another option to the ones already mentioned.

Restraints are not cost-prohibitive. Night and I got along fine for quite a while with just four Sport Sheet velcro cuffs and a few lengths of clothesline. You can get said cuffs here for about $17 each:

If you have problems with "cuff burn" with them, then just snip off the ankle parts of some tube socks and use them as padding.

As for tools: I've always found feathers and paintbrushes mostly useless, so don't spend an arm and a leg for high-quality artists' brushes. On the other hand, I've often had good results with large, fuzzy pipe cleaners, which can be had cheaply, between the toes.

I have several of those things already, of course, an electric toothbrush I have...planned to get a Hummingbird. I was thinking of making my own restraints from that by-the-yard nylon strapping you can get at the fabric store plus some of those plastic quick-release buckles for fast getaways (I've seen those sorts of restraints for sale and as I'm handy with a sewing machine I thought I'd do them myself, plus I get to pick the colors 🙂 🙂. Believe it or not my biggest stumper is the bag itself - it has to be roomy enough to accomodate Gandalf (my vibrating light-up head-massager thing, I've mentioned him before). I've been looking at large purses but they're all too boring for me; although I realise that a bag of toys can be unassuming on the outside, that's just not -my- style. 🙂 Perhaps I'll have to sew my own bag, too.

If you guys bring your bags to the next Munch I'll bring mine when it's done. Although, if I can't find me a lee around here nothing's going to have been broken in...I'm not getting any younger, people. >🙂

I use a plain ol' duffel bag but I'm sure you could come up with something great, maybe incorporating some of those pieces you shared with us at Fudd's (like a Q of Hearts logo maybe??)

If you do hotels or other non-bondage-enabled beds, may I recommend packing a rope harness thingie that you can wrap around a mattress and attach cuffs to the corners? I'd bring mine to a munch, but any attempt to demonstrate it would definitely blow our cover.

Although, if I can't find me a lee around here nothing's going to have been broken in...I'm not getting any younger, people. >🙂

FYI, I'm in the area, and I am a lee... no pressure.
