Iam terribly sorry to hear what happened to your dog, TTD.
When I had my dog, we always tried to keep a close eye on her, so she wouldnt go out into the road. We were forced to give her away, when my parents seperated, because all of us were moving to apartments that did not allow dogs. About nine months later, we learned from our vet that she had been run over and killed by a car in her new owners driveway. We were heartbroken to hear that.
Losing a pet is a terrible tradegy. Again, my heartfelt thoughts go out to you and your family.

I've loved animals since I was a baby. The downside of that is that sometimes you have to say good bye to them. No worse feeling on the planet, IMHO.
I am so sorry TickledToDeath. I really am.
