Coupla' triskele variations requested by Libertine, making the feathers softer and less stone-carved... I'll do KittenToes' idea as I can -- it's actually deceptively difficult to do right, with the triskele segments competing for space with the feathers...
I've got a few other non-triskele ideas up my sleeve, and I want to go back and polish up some of my other rough entries for competition while we're still brainstorming and accepting contributions...
Further, I like the incorporation of the feather (
or anything) to the neuron design... Reason's this: While it's a very strong stand-alone piece, it's not so much
obscure (as is the BDSM triskele) as it is
contraindicating -- again, it makes me think brain science or Mensa. If you want to go obscure, let's go obscure... Add something to it that doesn't make it a simple neuron... Have the dendrites end in hands, have the nucleus replaced with an iconic eye, wrap a snake around it -- heck, I don't know, but just one little tweak or modification can get it at least to jump the hurdle of contraindication into the truly obscure, which I think is more of what that faction of folks seems to want if I follow their logic correctly...
Keep working, folks! Very cool thread! I look forward to more entries and maybe even some collaboration!
🙂 And Heather Feather -- thanks for your insightful contribution and welcome to the Forum!
