So far...

...none of the ladies on here have been anything like bitchy to me.
Most have replied to my messages in a friendly fashion.
A smaller number have politely informed me that they had no desire to engage in communication with me, which I simply respected, and left them alone. 😛
A still smaller number have simply chosen not to reply at all, in any way. I have assumed that this means they do not wish to communicate at all, and I have repected that choice and left them alone also.
The worst thing any lady on here has done is to accuse me of being a gentleman.
I mean, REALLY! What have I ever done to deserve that?!

Unfortunately just being female on here makes you a target for PMs, whether they're completely nice or ones wanting to know right off the bat where you're ticklish. Hopefully, I'm immune to these now. 🙂 Anyways I know I myself tend to be *very* nervous about guys who I know are turned on by tickling immediately wanting to talk *about* tickling with me, because I have this habit of assuming that means they see me as a sex object. In ANY case I don't really think the chick should have been rude to you. 🙁 I'm sorry that happened. She could have been more civil, I'm sure.

Ive never experienced any bitchiness from any of the girls on TMF. I have had some not continue PMing. I just assume that they had nothing else to say or couldnt hold up a conversation. Thats all. Other than that..they have been very nice.

And I think "being nice" is all you can really ask of someone you PM, especially if you don't have any relationship together. Keeping up with PMs is a lot of work, you know! And I think one shouldn't expect a conversation to go on indefinitely. I'm sure that if some of the women on the TMF kept pen-palling with every guy they responded to "nicely" in PM, they'd never leave the house! 😀

But if you've been corresponding back and forth, and then she doesn't write back for a while - in the absence of any bitchiness, I think it's okay to assume that you can jump back into the conversation at any point in the future. She's not necessarily blowing you off, so much as slacking on the getting back to you.

Of course, if you send a PM, especially a first one, and get nothing back - then it's probably best to leave the girl alone, and think about modifying your approach for use in the future.

But like a few of the great people have said, some women are just bitchy or she was mental! Who knows! If your willing to get bitched at again, maybe ask her if something was wrong or if you don't care (which is probably the case) ignore her and don't bother anymore 🙂

Same here. Never found sharpness or bitchiness either. Maybe I cannot hold on converations for long time also because I do not usually get into personal stuff so I guess it might become boring after a little while... so, maybe quite discontinous PMing but not bad experiences here.

As some of the other ladies in the forum said, we do get tired of the same old crap like "Where's your most ticklish spot?" and other stuff about tickling.....I'm WAYYYY more than just a tickle toy. I mean, I know that we are on this site for a reason, but geez....try to get to know me a bit more. I think steph or Mz. Chaos said it, but.......guys should really read our posts so they actually know what's going on in our heads...they might actually get the answers to their questions too!

Oh... one more thing. You guys wanna know something that is extremely frustrating?
I have several people on my Yahoo Chat who I have put on ignore. Some because conversations with them made me feel uncomfortable, most because I had so many folks talking to me that I had to weed the list down to those which I felt were more compatable with my personality and sense of humor (at one time... I had 6 chats going... AARRGGHH!!!). What I did to these folks whom I chose for the weeding is to make myself appear "Permanently Offline."
I can think of one 'Ler here that I have told off in a PM after being provoked to do so. I can think of another with whom I have recently requested a cease in communications. Besides those 2... I can think of no other 'lers who can accuse me of being rude, disrespectful or harsh. Even those who totally creep me out with their requests and questions have been treated with politeness.

Now picture this...
I'm sitting there, at my desk, chatting to a friend. Up pops this addition request. It is one of the guys that I had selected to mark as "Permanently Offline." He has changed his name in order to catch me online.
What is wrong with this picture? This has happened an amazing number of times.
Any time you guys think we have it so good... think about what happens behind the scenes...

OK...time for me to be the Devil's Advocate for just one second and put a few other things out there also. Happy, sometimes there are a lot of women that think they are "above" talking to some of the guys on here unless they are part of some inner click or become part of it. If you are outside that group, the guys they currently talk to will advise them not to answer you at all. Yes in basic lame slang...its called "Hating". There are guys on here that have a "grip" on some of the ladies and unless you clear them, your never going to speak to them. And sometimes these guys of course would be fearful of *gasp* letting another male talk to their "buddy" for fear of losing them. They call them on the phone and its like "oh yeah (new guy id) PMed today...I might answer him" the girl would say and the guy is immediatley like "NO NO, he just wants to talk tickle stuff with you, not like me Im your friend...no one else is like me. Dont answer him. He will PM you back over and over if you talk to him once"
That is the case sometimes, and honestly sometimes the guy is a freind in every sense of the word, but they still can be a bit "over protective" in this an online forum setting. Its like this is their only contact with the female species and thus they have to control the ones they know from here.
Happy, your going to have to trust yourself, have lots of tact, a lot of good conversation and a little bit of luck. Because honestly sometimes the ones that are the eaisest and most eager to respond...are those that you probally wouldnt want to respond.

Okay....Im going to get in my box and start defelcting all the verbal jabs and flames thrown my way. Im not speaking of anyone specific just so its said OKAY! NO ONE AM I DIRECTING THIS TOWRDS..but if your offended by me saying the truth...then so be it, and dont pretend it doesnt happen...I know it does, I wasnt born yesterday. It was actually a few days ago.

Happy, think back! Chaos has a point.... I know for some men the phone itself is a scary thing and ya'll hate to use it but even through the PM's.... Talk to the ladies to just talk! Being pushy to get right to tickle talk is not appealing to MOST women.....

Tulip and Mz. Chaos, you ladies are SO right! There's nothing more annoying than getting yet ANOTHER *rolling eyes here* yahoo friend invite from someone on the TMF, and their 1ST question is, "Hi. I saw you on the TMF.....so, you like to be tickled?" DUHHHHHH! But I would much rather someone come at me and just say hello, how are you? how is your day? That would make me more apt to talk about tickling later.

I have talked to guys from the TMF over the phone, and is really is very refreshing to talk about anything but tickling for a couple hours straight. Admittedly, since we obviously like the subject, it gets worked into the conversation, but its not all that is focused upon, like some of these guys want it to be.
