I have noticed that when ever one of us crazy guys post pics of our wives or girlfriends, be it their cute feet, legs or other body parts, the overwhelming majority of responses and comments are from other guys. Rarely our female members. I was wondering why? Is it because we're horn dogs? LOL

A body part is just that. It tells nothing about the person to whom it belongs. One might as well look at an amputated leg or breast for all the allure a disembodied piece of anatomy provides. Eyes are the window of the soul, and with very few exceptions if a picture does not contain a face to which the viewer can relate, it might as well be a snapshot of the goods for sale at a butcher's counter.

I am slightly inclined to agree with you but having studied art for many years, having done countless study sketches and paintings, the pure mechanics and form of the female form is a true thing of beauty. The masters, including DaVinci, found wonder in a hand, a foot, an eye. As far as the snap shots being equivalent to a butcher shop display, I couldn't disagree with you more!!!!!!!!

Yes, the female form can be a thing of beauty. But the anatomical studies done by Da Vinci are just that, research and/or preliminary monochromatic charcoal or chalk sketches often fully realised in his completed paintings. In another instance, Dürer's "Praying Hands" (c. 1508) was originally one of 18 studies done to be incorporated in the full figure of an apostle in an altar piece, not as stand-alone art. By the same token, Charles-Louis Hanon's tedious book of piano-training exercises (1873) was meant to strengthen a student's hands and technique, not to be played in a concert.

Generally women are attracted to the entire package rather than its constituent ingredients; to them the whole is greater than the mere sum of its parts. Fetishism (objects, e.g. a shoe) and partialism (body parts to the exclusion of anything else) are almost exclusively male preserves.

Ergo the lack of female comment- THEY might disagree with you and agree with me about the butcher shop analogy. And as with most affairs of the heart or lower, it's the female's opinion that matters, I'm afraid.

Additionally, many things come into play here. For one, there's a huge gap in ratio of men to women here on this sight to begin with, so, regardless of the preference of the female, you are going to get more posts from men because, well, simply put, there ARE more men.

Also, many of the women here are interested in tickling/being tickled by men. So they wouldn't be inclined to comment on the picture of another woman, regardless of the body part.

As to the f/f ladies here or the men posing as such, I can't even speculate because I don't fit into that category at all.

So being one of the ones interested in tickling/being tickled by men here, I'll comment as to why I don't comment on such photos. Simply put, I don't know your "wife/girlfriend/significant other". And for me it's about a connection with people, even if it's just a base familiarity with them. To me, commenting on such pictures is the same as making the same comment to a stranger. Just not something I make it a habit of doing.

Libertine always makes some amazing right on comments. But otherwise, Jeez, have you seen the bulk of them you speak of? Isolated foot pictures really does nothing for me, and there's been a deluge of such photos here since the advent of the camera phone. I like seeing the rest of the person too, but we don't get to see that very much here any more. It gets boring, and besides, look at the men who primarily post on those threads. It's largely the same ones over and over again.
Then there's the infamous Tickles Females who always has to ask if they're ticklish, and if they are, he'll always request they make a video clip with sound of her being tickled and posting it there. No one has yet to my knowledge, but that hasn't slowed him down.
Some of these guys sound like they just don't get out of the house much, nor have any chances of being able to date a woman, hence why they live here drooling over these poor quality images of isolated feet.

Anyways, my apologies that you took my response to be pretentious and antagonistic tone, etc it was not my intention.
So, my confusion was about if you were asking why more women were not posting comments about the pictures or why the women were not posting pictures of their SO's fabulous body parts, but I think I got my answer now. As you can see I don't think I classify as a "superior intellect" sort, more like an idiot.

And while I like both male and female and anything in-between and then some body types again I do not lust over body parts. But, I can and do appreciate most any type of body parts from any gender. With that said, I personally will take a longer look or spend more time in general admiring a drawing or any artwork of a body part than a generic photo of the same body part. And as mentioned by others, even though I personally like hands, necks, and bellies (of both genders) I'm not interested in pictures of just hands, necks, and bellies.
