Ladies WHY?

I strongly dislike clothes shopping. If i go at all, it's usually because i need something nice on the fly or my clothes have been reduced to rags almost. Gothika has a wardrobe more extensive than most women, okay more like a huge T-shirt collection so i just wear his shirts mostly (not like he wears them, OH the IRONY :evilha: ) . With that said, we pretty much go everywhere together so if i'm shopping he's with me. He doesn't have to carry anything for me, or tell me what looks good and what doesn't. I think the only real involvement he has is being with me. He does pick out my shoes though.. but that's a different barrel of fish 😉

Now, if i were to go into a Home Depot or Harbor Freight it'd be very typical female behavior "ooh i like that, let's buy this, I can build that... " we're kinda role reversalled around.
 
I know this is going to sound like foppish point-scoring, but I actually don't mind going clothes shopping with the other half. It's only half a day once or twice a month, you get to veto any shitty/ exorbitant purchases she might otherwise slip past you and best of all if you make a little day of it, walk around town for a bit in the morning and get something to eat and stuff, it can actually be quite nice. Also it does score points.

I actually dont mind going clothes shopping with my wife. Better that way then if she were to get a bunch of things i didnt like, when i go she will ask me and if i dont like it she usually wont get it. Plus shopping isnt bad and i may even find a few things myself

This is also a good point; I mean how else are you going to buy make-up and lingere without feeling awkward?

Really, when I had boyfriends in the past, or just take some guyfriends along with me, I don't really make them hold my purse or some shit, but basically, the opposite gender's opinion counts a lot, if you're looking for a relationship, or if you like somebody.

Maybe women bring men along for their opinion, or for the compnay. Let's say, for a married couple, the women might feel a little trapped in descisions of what her husband might like. So, solution is, bring him along, see what he likes. Yeah, there might be disagreements, but things can work out with at least something.

Yeah, chicks are picky and a bit self consious, but who isn't?
 
Last time I did such thing (couple of years back) I just spent the time outside the store and smoked a pack of cigarettes. After every 3 or 4 cigs I went back in and gave my opinion of whatever she had picked. ("Yeah, looks fine to me. Yep, fine too. Your ass looks nice in that one, and so do your boobs, etcetera")

Ever since I just gave up on it and told her to fetch some of her female friends next time.
 
I don't mind going clothes shopping with a girl as long as the store involved also has men's clothing.

Express is a great store for this. One side has women's clothing, the other, men's. More brands ought to do that sort of thing. It's more practical that way.

(Not to mention the fact that some of their staff is hot.)

I love spending time with the girl of my desires, even if it is a mundane activity like shopping 🙂 Is getting to see her pick out clothes that look cute on her really such a bad thing? It gives me an excuse to gaze upon my beautiful friend :3

Perhaps, secretly, such a woman wishes to know her partner's opinion, to take it into consideration when deciding what to buy?

I can't say for certain, not being a woman; for my part, I try to balance the "oh god, another half hour in lingerie" with "a few more minutes, between our three or four jobs and other obligations at any given time, to spend together." It becomes easily bearable 🙂

I dont like to go clothes shopping but if my man is with me it goes quicker for he will tell me if it looks good or not.
