Let's put this Stern thing to rest once and for all: Stern has a Morning-Zoo-style radio show. It's a format that's been used, mostly horribly, across the nation in big and small markets. It's an irreverent format in that it's meant to make fun of people and institutions. through phone pranks, fake phone calls to comedians impersonating others and other hijinks. In every single Stern tickling clip, he or his minions are making fun of the ticklers or ticklees as creeps and weirdos. If Stern's doing the tickling, he spends most of the time berating the ticklee, just about calling her a freak at times. The only reason he kept doing tickle shows was the big ratings on E!.

I adore Chelsea but I see one of two things happening here. One, she thinks it's creepy as hell and jokes about it with her panel of guest comedians (great if you're into public humiliation I suppose) and still doesn't get tickled or two, she thinks it's creepy and doesn't even mention it after reading the request because she's well, creeped out.

Scenario 2 - we lose absolutely nothing
Scenario 1 - will you really sit home, get embarrassed and feel bad about it? I doubt it..
Scenario 3 - yes its a stretch, but she may say : aghhh what the hell, why the heck not, it was a fear if mind but it's time for me to face it... Chewey (sp) come tickle me!

The effort you put in this makes me think it's a liiiiitle more than just little innocent tickling. Plus, name-calling has never gotten anybody anywhere.

On the contrary, I watched a couple of Howard's side show fuck ups we'll call a tickling episode .. and I was disgusted at the way he portrayed it.
Secondly, what you are asking this woman to do is most certainly not just little innocent tickling. This is obvious a sexual fantasy for you, not some harmless little playful poke.
Be happy with what you have and stop giving us a bad name.
Some of us love mainstream tickling and that is why this would be so sweet. Produced stuff is fine but mainstream for some of us is more exciting. Different people have different taste. I saw everyone of Howard's tickling episodes and they were not that bad. No he wasn't as good a tickler as yaqi(not even close) and yes he was a goofball but that is just Howard's personality. I don't see why just bringing up tickling has to be so creepy. Yes asking her to be tied up and tickled would be way too much. But simply asking her to incorporate some tickling into her show is not a big deal.

He's not asking that, he's asking full on BDSM style tickling. Let's face it, few people here on the TMF have the stomach or cojones to become involved in such.
I understand. And I do think she would be turned off by that. But if we tone it down into just some playful tickling then I don't think it would come off so bad. But I do like his initiative.

If you'd like an example of what even "toned down tickling" comes off as .. check out Tommy and Tasha's appearance on the Tyra Banks Show a few years back.
As far as his initiative ... we might as well kidnap, hogtie, and tickle her ... we'd still get the same reaction from Mainstream America. Half of this country can't handle Gays and Lesbians .. how the hell do you expect them to accept the tickle fetish?

A bunch of my Catholic friends once went pray at an abortion clinic, and they wanted me to tag along. I said "What the hell, I need to see what this is all about." They went out there, just prayed in the grass for a while, then some janitors or workers walk up, but they looked like janitors, and the leader grabs his bible and starts yelling at them, not hateful cursing, but the loud religious yelling bible quotes and such that the guys on street corners used to do.
These two janitors absolutley didn't give a shit, and one just just waved his arm in the "get the hell away from me wacko" way you do to bruch off crazy people who yell bible quotes at you.
I interviewed the leader after, and this guy absolutely believed he "reached people today." Total abject disconnect from reality.
It's like when people here ask a celebrity if they're ticklish.

I saw that and I thought it went pretty well. They even had some people from the audience jump in there. As far as our fetish being accepted, I believe it is what it is, OUR fetish. But in a mild context tickling is generally accepted. No reason he or others shouldn't ask. Just leave out the hardcore bondage request.
